By the time they played Wisky, PSU was destroyed mentally. The team was done. They checked out. You are vastly underestimating the toll it took on the team. Vastly.
Dammit man! I was trying to be civil and give y'all a compliment. In the words of Jerry Sandusky: "Just take it!"
BornToBeRed said: WPS, just a head's up. We might be the most family-friendly board on the network, so take it easy on your normal wps-ness.
i'll leave that alone
i don't get trolling or why it is worth the effort, but I guess we gotta claim him .
I know, I wasn't arguing with you.
i don't disagree with that, but the same could have been said about how we played after rocket play at MSU. another gem offered up by BB
Yep.... if we go 6-6 it will be just short of a miracle IMO.
From NEA to NWA.
We told you guys he was a turd.
Another thing, Beils lucked into Russel Wilson as well. That kind of helped.
How was it luck? From everything I have seen he can recruit pretty well.

They were lucky enough to have NC St's coach be an idiot and remove Wilson from the team.
Beils??? He was a mediocre recruiter. He had good assistants, particularly Paul Cryst and the OL coach (Bostad) that he took with him to Pitt. The DL coach that went to Arky with Biels is pretty good as well. All of those guys did well at developing players. Beils just ate hamburgers and gained weight.
The way Wisconsin fans attack Bret on Twitter and how your fans rip him apart on your message boards tells the rest of the country that, yes, some of your fans are still dealing with the recovery phase (aka butt hurt). Not all of your fans are still dealing with that stage, but some still are.
The defense had its struggles. Not a single Nebraska fan would deny that. Next season is a new year with new players stepping in. Hopefully the defense will be trending upwards. We still gave up fewer points than Ohio State did during the conference regular season schedule, but during the four games that we lost there were break downs and athletic ability just wasn't there. There is better athleticism on the way now with the new starters. Just need to get them to perform at a high enough level. We will see how things go.
Lmfao comparing acolades in the big 10...how long did saban coach at msu?
I'm not a saban fan but I don't think anyone can talk down on him right now til bammer gets dethroned..especially a shmuck like bilema
The scandal seems like a convenient scapegoat. No one outside of happy valley believes that after beating Indiana Iowa Purdue northwestern and Illinois you were we'll on your way to the crown. i dont even think you can honestly believe that. Your last 3 were OSU NEB AND UW and you lost all 3. And how you can hold UW responsible for OSUs cheating it PSUs issues is laughable. But not as laughable as your argument for 2011.
So will every B1G champion have an asterisk next to them until PSU is off sanctions?
That's a damn six-pack if I've ever seen one:
Umm... no... we beat OSU (which isn't saying much because that team gave up half way through the year). Nebraska was a very close game.
I'm not saying that you are responsible, just that your last two are bogus. And yes, if PSU wins their division and is the best team, there should be an asterisk.
How could they not talk down to him?
That is one fatass crybaby
His first class at Arkansas that he put together in under two months was ranked #22 and higher than any he ever had at Wisconsin. Sounds more like it was a Wisconsin problem to me.

You remember the score the 3 games before last when Arkansas had a real coach? Right! It was AtM getting a beat down! Btw what is the all time record of UA against AtM.
Saban was the coach while I was at MSU, he did things at MSU that Bielema could never pull off. 1) beat #1 Ohio State at the Horse Shoe 2) beat Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Notre Dame, University of Oregon and a Steve Spurrier coached Gators team all in the same season (1999). I was pissed that my school was cheap and didn't give the man the money he deserved.
I can't wait to see Saban put the hurts on Bielema.
Yep. Amazing it is easier to recruit after a four win season at Arkansas than off three straight Rose Bowls at Wiscy! Well at least Alvarez makes a pile of money there.
