He does not even know the true name of the school he is comitted to. "The University of Auburn"
One of the nation's top dual-threat quarterbacks, junior college star Nick Marshall said on Monday that he has committed to Auburn. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound athlete spent last season putting up astounding numbers at Garden City Community College in Kansas after being dismissed from Georgia in early 2012 following an incident that reportedly involved stealing money from fellow players.

Don't think he is official yet... We have to make sure his grades are good to go.
He'll be a corner.
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
Malzahn is really taking this program in a new direction.
The stealing of money and electronics wasn't his only incident at UGA, just the final incident. I'm sure just like Dyer, Nick is a changed man.
Awe aint that cute.. From the team that cant win the big one. Comes...more accusations of players being "cost" items.
And to be honest it would be more understandable if Scar was getting a top recruit, that we would then discuss how much he was getting payed to go there. AU has history...Scar is about to be history when The Ole Ball Coach leaves in a couple years.
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
That would be a mistake in that offense, IMO
Could be a Terrelle Pryor clone. He committed to The University of Ohio State. Lock up your equipment locker!

I am a Buckeye...proof there is a God in Heaven who loves me.
Wait, how is he Cam Newton's clone if he's only 6'2" 205?
That's not fair to the kid. Granted, he already has the theft part down but atleast let academic fraud charges be filed and him kicked out of school before we call him the next Cam.
Totally agree. Although, he has blazing speed and if he is an average passer, he can be very good in Malzahn's offense.
from what i'm hearing, he'll begin workouts as a QB, but if he doesn't win starting job, he'll transition back over to cornerback.
Where have we heard this before?
Think we had a thread on this a while back, but Tyrik Rollison is tearing it up at Tyler JC this year. Tyler is headed to the playoffs after
Marshall was 2nd in the nation for juco's with 20 ints in 11 games! congrats....

I never cared for Tyrik and also don't think Nick Marshall will ever see the field as a QB for Auburn. Haven't seen it before from me.
Malzhan changes QB's dramatically
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this kid has yet to touch the field as a DB, going into his 3rd year. If he is not going to play QB what makes Auburn think he will be an option in the secondary?
He was a DB for UGA.
that's why I said touch the field as a DB. He did provide a solid option on kickoff coverage and punt coverage, except for that time that Melvin Ingram gave him the business. Also spring game if you want to count that
Regardless, this guy is a difference-maker. Just hope he can up-standing
Geez just asking a question that seemed innocent enough. Maybe take your Chiz mock turtleneck off for a while. He's gone and it's clearly restricting blood flow to the brain which is making you cranky.
But I'm no doctor
