NCAA gives you the LOIC charge and then Miami may take them to the Supreme Court for a drawn out lawsuit. Nice.
People have tried to sue the NCAA before and they almost always lose
Besides the Canes aren't rich enough to do battle like that, the NCAA would outlast them 20 times over
And even if they do sue, and say they win... it will be long after sanctions have done their damage
I would love to see Miami be the ones who took the NCAA down, but its not gonna happen and thinking its possible is nothing more than a pipe dream
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Miami does not want the NOA public, so they will not sue. Must be frekkin horrible.
Probably, and they are better off just moving on anyways
All it will do is drag their name through the mud for even longer, they spend a ridiculous amount of money and for what ? what could they possibly gain from going after the NCAA ? would they get scholarships back ? nope, would they get bowl games back ? nope
What the hell could they possibly gain, a restored image ? nope, everybody thought they cheated even before all of this happened and that perception of Thug U isn't going away even if its wrong or unfair compared to the teams that earned that nickname in the 80's and 90's
Shalala said they would not release it. I think she kind of represents Miami.
the golden era of college football
it's a shame crotchety old white dudes have to ruin everything
she's attempting to get sanctions reduced
they don't have to release it
pretty sure we can imagine what it says anyhow
they're all more or less the same
D'onofrio is just a pawn. This is Al Golden's team and Al's defense. Al's the clown. Dorito's just the floppy shoes.
It will never reach the Supreme Court, that costs too much money and takes time. I believe they will settle sometime in the summer with minor scholarship reductions and move on.
Sad but true.
