I learned the same about you in one post. Glass houses stones... Wps if possible get the insurance I your name with your mom, dad, grandparent listed as primary driver. Old people with no wrecks have dirt cheap car insurance. My car is in my name, but my stepdad is the primary driver makes things a lot cheaper.
Ouch... lol. I was just messin' w/ the kid. Truthfully messing, but still just joking.
lol you Bama fans roll deep, huh?
BornToBeRed said: WPS, just a head's up. We might be the most family-friendly board on the network, so take it easy on your normal wps-ness.
Get off the mans dick he is asking a question
mrgolf is a fag. Wps you gotta shop around man. Get full coverage even if your vehicle is paid off. If you don't have enough for a down payment on a new vehicle when you get in a wreck that is. I learned the hard way
Is he a Bama guy? I just felt the need to give u a hard time since u said that your dad sucked after buying you a car, putting you through school, and paying for insurance etc. but saying that your future imaginative kids are going to think your a loser is taking it go a whole new level in which I'm not prepared to go.
1. My dad didn't pay for my schooling
2. I really don't wanna give my life history, which would include the reasons why my mother divorced my father. Y'all don't know the whole story. I simply asked about car insurance, and I get put on blast by people who don't know shit about my childhood.
My dad is a liar, a thief, a cheater, a druggie and alcoholic. I really didn't wanna include that in my original post, but I figured I should post this here.
Or how about the part where he married a woman 15 years younger who's just as terrible at managing money?
Or what about him continuing to ask his dying mother (who has leukemia) for thousands of dollars because he and his wife can't afford to pay their bills. Their house is paid for, he has a company truck... All they have to pay for is her car. That's it.
And instead of telling me to just take it over he tells me that our insurance company has been "giving him a hard time" because I'm still on his insurance. BS. His name is also on the Toyota. I even called my agent and asked.
Y'all wanted the story; y'all got it.
Fvck them dude and what cream said is the smartest thing to do
To change the subject, some more free advice:
If you get a speeding ticket and traffic school is not an option...
Mail in $1.00 more than the ticketed amount. Chances are that your city/county/state cannot keep the excess. They will mail back a check for $1.00. Immediately tear up the check. Do not cash it.
So long as you don't cash the check, the case from the ticket cannot be closed. Thus, your insurance company won't see it on your record if by some chance they did randomly check for traffic violations. No record, no rate increase.
Happy days are here again!!!!
Yup, you're dad does suck.
That dude seriously doesnt even know you lol

Might want to get a different agent than the one your father uses

this is great advice. 1800-insurance companies are a fad. go with a standard insurance company - if you go with a non-standard company, they will raise your rates and the standard companies will not recognize these companies if you try to switch later (ie: JoeBlow Insurance to State Farm/Allstate). since they don't recognize these companies as standard - your rates will be higher.
shop your homeowners. as a general rule - do it on an annual basis. when a company changes their rates and you can find them cheaper elsewhere - it won't be like that for long. rate increases are always industry wide - it's up to the company "how much". in the current market, it's going to be hard to find many company's that will write your home without your auto. auto has been subsidizing home for roughly 4-5 years now.
Definitely get uninsured motorist. When people say "full coverage" they assume everything they could need is covered but uninsured motorist usually isn't.
