I'm excited about getting on the boat tomorrow.
Happy days are here again!!!!
What I don't understand is how with today's technology it can take 4 days to get help to them.
They've said it will still take the usual disembarkation time, regardless of the situation. Chances of a riot?
After what happened in Greece(I think) this doesn't surprise me. Carnival is the budget cruise. Would never get on one of their ships.
My fiancée and I looked at Carnival for our honeymoon trip on a Mediterranean Cruise. We decided on the Royal Caribbean cruise line instead though.

Royal is a good line.
I'm excited. My family and I went on a Carnival for the millennium, we were actually out at sea as the clock hit 12:00 and it turned the year 2000, and we liked it. Also went on two Disney cruises when I was younger. First time on Royal for me though. Very excited. Leave from Barcelona and go to France, Italy, and Croatia!
Ive been on Royal and Princess, both are very good.
Royal is awesome.
Bbucks works for princess, I believe.
I have been on 2 carnival's as well, no issues.
I've been on Carnival, Royal, and Norwegion. Royal was the best, then carnival, then Norwegion
Been on 3 carnival cruises so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I was pleased with everything. Going to try Royal Carribean next time
thats what i was thinking. it only take about a day to cross the Gulf. why in the hell wasnt a towboat on the way as soon as the fire knocked the engines out? any half competent engineer is going to know you wont get the engines operational if a fire is as bad as they say
FSU Ambassador to the masses
I've been on the Carnival Paradise and had hell of a good time.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
If youre on a boat your life is in jeopardy its a ship. Unless youre refering to your boat...lol
George Bush's fault
The Greece incident wasn't a carnival ship. That being said carnival is considered the lower cost crew line. I think their target demographic is under age 35 and senior citizen.
Did a bachelor party a few years ago for a friend. Miami to key west then Cozumel. Thank goodness this was not designed for a vacation as we basically partied the whole time. The boat sucked, the food sucked. Would never do a vacation on that. It fit our need for a few days of screwing off
Boats name was Inspiration, Should have been called lower expectations

0% chance I will ever get on a cruise. Just not worth it
"Because Bama now sucks just like FSU used to suck when we were getting dominated by OU. Does it make sense now?"- Sliger (FSU Fan)
Lol have you evEr been 100 miles offshore?
It's not exactly "towboat territory" that far offshore.
Towboats don't travel 20 knots either so it's not like they can magically tug It in overnight.
The said they were going to dock at 8am this morning. Now they FINALLY got to port and are tying the thing up at 9:30pm. But they said it will take 5 hours to get the people off the boat. LOL. Wut? Why? Never, ever, would I get on one of those things.
Yes it is a Carnival Ship....

Ah, I stand corrected, I did not realize that the company that ran that ship was a subidary company of Carnival, I just remebered the cruise company being a different name. My apologies
No need to apologize... just letting you know. I always love a chance to lolz at mickey and co. Truthfully Mickey is a hell of a guy... its just comeptition.
Just read the article on what happened. What a nightmare.
Passengers who endured nightmarish conditions aboard the disabled Carnival Triumph have begun to leave the vessel after it docked in Mobile, Ala., Thursday night.
