because only ONE elevator was functioning. there is over 3,000 guests... multiple stories of decks.. and they all have to go through one elevator.
Agreed. 1 Carnival cruise for me with the wife. Horrid food. Horrid experience. Horrid passengers . It was as if some how they managed to get Detroit to float.
Never been on a cruise. But I will take your word for it. Royal Carribean if I ever go.
Do some research....check out Norwegian and see what Freestyle Cruising is about...you won't be sorry.
And I'm not sure they got all of the passengers processed yet, either.

I think it's like most things You get what you pay for. We were young and Carnival was by far the cheapest one so we figured what the hell. Others may be better
I heard they flew in Saban to help, and got them all processed in just a fraction of the time they expected.

The Triumph is actually the ship that we took four years ago on our cruise. It was great... had lots of fun. The ship was older although everything was in good shape. I still can't believe it took that long to get them help.
I'm actually sitting on the carnival dream right now waiting to disembark. Had a great time.
That said we saw Royal Carribeans 'Oasis at Sea' at all our ports. Good lord that thing is a monster.
