I know it's not the end all be all but Fangraphs and the fielding bible is all fans have. Each team has their own system but the Braves might not since their manager openly admitted he didn't care(even know) about on base % for his lead off hitter.
It looks like the 184 balls were hit to him and he got to 137. Scoops is scp on the fielding section and he had 48 last year so that's included. I'm going with the only two sites that keep defensive data and not posters from a board full of nothing but Braves fans. He's young and can/should improve but right now he is well below average in the field and at the plate. 14th or 15th (first basemen) iin Ops, runs created, weighted on base, 13th in Hrs,
18th in avg, 12 in On base, 16th in slugging.

I'll go with my 200+ games I've seen him play over your 10 and websites ALL DAY
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Makes perfect sense. A Braves fan knows if Freeman is a "Gold Glove" above average 1B over two different websites that have seen every ball hit to 1B in over a decade. Show me anyone's opinion that he is a stud Defensive 1B outside of a 247 poster and I might reconsider.

Watch games, not spreadsheets Ogilvy.
Lol.. So you would rather go by computers grading a team over the eye test?
No, but neither of us are scouts and don't watch every game. These guys do. Besides part of saber metrics is scouting. Most every team uses some form of it and puts defensive value on players.
