Arkansas reporter thinking there is a strong possibility. Good hire if true.

Butch Jones. Who???
Think it was a fake account.
The Southwick twitter could very well be fake, but the reporter seems like he has something tangible to give this story wheels.
Southwick didn't even spell his name right
XoGisele, Ashley Sky, Niki Skyler
Even more telling is that Rucker just tweeted that Boise St. players aren't allowed to tweet.

Is he a serious candidate?

Arkie needs to hire John Blake or bring back Houston Nutt.
Getting more interesting...

I know that guy... personally. He (almost all of the time) doesn't post stuff on Twitter without having/knowing something to back it up. I'm interested now.
If CP to Arkansas than thats not a home run hire. It's a frickin grand slam.
Dude's a great evaluator in talent and coach up talent.
If the rumors are true this offseason then I'm not happy as a Bama fan.
I dont like the Petrino to Auburn, Golden to UT, or Petersen to Arky ideas at all
I dont know how legit the info is but I have heard a lot of smoke here that it is done and will be announced tuesday.
I don't know what they handed him to consider walking away from the incredible essentially lifetime contract he had at Boise State, but I'll be very impressed with the Arkansas AD if they can pull this off.
Would be an unreal hire.

It's crazy to think about the number of jobs he turned down, and all of a sudden he just decides to pack up camp to go to Arkansas. Maybe he sees that he is not going to get his fair shot year in and year out for a National Championship at Boise St. ever.
I dunno man. I won't believe it until it happens. I never thought he would leave Boise... especially for Arkansas. I figured he would stay out west. But like I said earlier I won't believe anything until he's signed and giving a press conference.
Boise can not match what Arkansas would pay him, but maybe his relationship with the AD and everyone in Boise can keep him there. All of that Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, JB Hunt Trucking, and Jerry Jones money may not matter afterall... and Arkansas will have to keep going down their list of potential candidates.
What I read about a week ago is that Arkansas is about to open some state of the art hospital that would specialize in the disease that his son has. It was something to that extent. I can't remember the exact details. Needless to say if that is true it would be a huge factor in his decision.
It is all about his son and money is not the issue.
UAMS (University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences) in Little Rock has some amazing facilities. The hospital in Northwest Arkansas is supposed to be expanding, too.
If this is true I buy in to the rumors, his sons illness is the reason he has been there for so long.

Whoa. That's some heavy stuff. Now I'd definitely think he'd want to leave for Arky rather than stay, since his son's health is possibly at stake.
His son Is fine, well his health isn't at risk.... Boise's hospital is the reason he stayed so long.
