It is today....
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
Derwin James better be one of the 5, that is all Im saying JC
Or else Im coming at you.... bro
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
We love Derwin James for sure. Will that keep you from coming at JC...time will tell.

More like Derp'in James.
Im just kidding, I don't really think he is a top 5 player
I would have him around #25-#35
In that range, be interesting to see where you have him
High 4 star imo
We all agree. I think it will be interesting to see where his future position is. I tend to lean to OLB when considering his age, skill set/athleticism and where his frame is headed in the coming years.

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised to hear Lyons will start at S though
So maybe they have similar plans for James too, I love having one huge safety so long as he is no slower than 4.6 or 4.7 and you have another off the bench for situational stuff
I've seen some on other sites think he could play CB but Im not in agreement with them there
Don't come at me bro
Strange class on paper so far. California is loaded as is the quarterback position. No elite, elite Fournette type running back. Better cycle at tackle, I think.
Gonna take a shot at the top 4 in alphabetical order....
DE Mekhi Brown
DT Daylon Mack
RB Jacques Patrick
DE CeCe Jefferson
Probably just one, though

Great prospects but only one of top five is from the Southeast.
Haha, yeah, I guess you noticed my bias a little there.
Patrick isn't top 50, IMO. Jefferson is definitely 5* material. Throw in that Bama bump and he's basically a 5* lock. Not sure he's top 5, though.
The University School running back is better but I don't think Hamilton went scouting in SoFla for the '15 class yet. Although, I may be wrong there.
Kevin Toliver is definitely a 5*. Lockdown corner. The Bama legacy OT in Tampa and Ivey in Orlando are damn good as well. Plus, James.
Yeah, how did LSU lock up Toliver so early... there a family connection there ?
Do you count Texas as the southeast?
For the purposes of our top five, yes.
hope he likes to eat
Just a heads up, we won't start the 2015 class with many 5's. It will grow out over time.
Gerry, who do you see as the top 2015 guys from the Upper Midwest area (WI, IL, MN, IA, NE, MO, Kansas, etc)?
