He gives Saban the best competition as a HC compared to any other coach in the country.
He is a bit nuts, but he's still a good coach.
I agree RATT - I think he is capable
I agree with the parent/commentator of the LSU football player that observed, someday they are going to shake him and a lucky horseshoe is going to fall out of his ass.
Holy crap. I literally love this man. Les is one of my favorite coaches in all of college football. He's great for the sport.
He dropped an "F" bomb.. The question that set him off was someone calling Russell Shep a bust.. Shep is a fan favorite and is the reason we landed Sam Montgomery and many many top players. Shep might not have been the best player but he was a great teammate and person, is a leader and did so much for this team by his intangibles.. One of my favorite all time tigers.. Glad Les stuck up for his players and truly meant what he said.. That's why players love him
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
The Baton Rouge Advocate ran a story this week calling Russell Shepards career a dissapointment and that was Miles rant to the guy who wrote the article at the presser.

Shep will be a great position coach one day.
Edit: and one hell of a recruiter... From Sam..
"Russell is a great player, a sleeping giant that no one knows about who will make people see the greatness in him," said LSU defensive end Sam Montgomery, who befriended Shepard at the 2009 Under Armour game. "He's the reason why I came to this school. If it wasn't for Russell Shepard I wouldn't have come. He's the reason why I made one of the wisest decisions for myself on and off the field."

I love Les Miles, I wouldn't trade him for any other coach in the world
