As long as you don't lose to the worst team in your conference, you should be ok. Last ok state lost to a .500 team and we barely posted them despite losing to the #1 team in america.
Except a lifetime ban from Valdosta.
Nice, we play 4 Top 10 teams.. And I like our spot, I didnt even want to be ranked to be honest.. I want our guys to earn everything they get, including respect
Hilarious when a homer complains before any games have been played.
Do you ever think you have a highly ranked offense only because your team plays horrible defenses?
It's possible but the SEC has been really top heavy the past few years. Exception in 2010
Thanks for the spelling class simp.
I don't trust these people. They have already showed the propensity to pull bs.
If they started the polls in october, those two teams would've still been ranked higher than auburn.....doesn't matter
Win and when have two different meanings
He was average without Tebow! He left them hanging just like he will at ohio state....enjoy it while it lasts.....but his presence does by no way make you a top 25 team
He was there last year...if he was better than Lee and Jefferson why wouldn't he get playing time?
Didn't UM and OSU have a similar scenario a few years back but no one wanted to see a rematch?Correct me if I'm wrong?
I agree they should replace ND. OSU has a soft ass schedule and should easily start off 5-0..
Yeah I'm at work and don't really give a shit about proof reading what I wrote.Again thanks for the correction though simp.
Auburn vs. Oregon 2010
Auburn had a bad defense that year for SEC standards. It'a not that farfetched of an idea though as some SEC DC's make more than many HC's.
This is what I never understood. Plus, jefferson was pretty gold in some games, he easily out played lee in the first lsu v. Bama game. Lee had an amazing td/int ratio more than halfway through the season.
Again, last year was the exception not the rule
If you look at scores, YAC, and YPC - SEC defense is similar to every other conf. There are many teams puting up 30 points on SEC defenses. What separates them is the "looking for the knock out blow" mentality on every play which is visibly apparent watching games.
SEC fans will admit they are leading college football in missed tackles and over pursuit - but when a helmet in the SEC hits its desired moving target - it is beyond violent.
I heard the best quote about a SEC defenders on the NFL Network from a discussion about player development and the transition from college to the NFL and it was said that SEC players are like a wild dogs chasing a moving bone all over the field - they eventually catch it, but in the process take each other out, swipe at it several times with a paw, and then try to put the whole bone in their mouth on the first bite........
Yeah USC has never played any top 10 defenses.I mean we're so scared we even tried to do a home series with Bama,UF and LSU.Oh the irony.
Because he didn't know the offense and Miles ALWAYS plays his SR QB's.. Always.
You should hear the reviews from the players and outside media that have watched practice on Mett, the dude looks great.
If you don't think Mett is better than Jefferson/Lee.. Than you are looking for a reason to demote LSU or hate LSU bc Mett IS better and he will show it this year and shut everyone up.
Anyways, you guys have fun arguing about worthless preseason polls.. crap gets old.
BTW, our O line and defense is insane

Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
UM lost on the last game of the season while florida lost very early and had time to make people forget.
While ok state lost after bama. So did stanford, oregon and oklahoma. They all choked when they had a clear path.
I'm just trying to figure out why UM and OSU didn't receive the same exception?
unmatched anywhere else.
Our defense was the top defense in the country in the second half that year
But UM lost to the clear number 1 team while UF lost to who?The logic is just off.The media flat out dismissed the game yet they rallied hard to see the supposed game of the century 2x times.Something is clearly wrong with this picture.
