Best places to eat?
Motor Supply Co.
Gervais and Vine
Yesterdays and Rockaways were my two favorites.
Motor Supply Co.
Mr. Friendlys - try a French Quarter Burger at lunch - bring napkins
Rockaways is pretty meh since the old building burned down. And I got food poisoning from 25c shrimp night there one time.
back in the day we went there after every game.
when did it burn down?
Go to Maurice's bbq for the sammiches.
Meh..Palmetto Pig is better IMO.
Never been there, but I could drink Maurice's sauce.
Agree with the sauce.
Of all the BBQ places in SC, I would put Maurice's as one of the most overrated. Plus, they charge like $10 for a BBQ sandwich now.

Looking for something fairly inexpensive and casual, just looking to grab a bite before the game.
I'm a fan of Little Pigs in Greenville.

I can't say I've had little pigs, and I live in Greenville. Will have to give it a shot.
For Fried Chicken go to Rosewood Dairy Bar or Bernies...I like Rosewood better
RDB is amazing..used to hit that place up all the time. Dano's pizza is a great place for a slice too. It's also on Rosewood.
cheap and casual before game - hit wild hare (wings are good) then next door is world of beer....about 500 beers on tap.
That sounds awesome. Thanks guys.
salt and pepper wings.
now...its bar food, and its a plain ol bar, nothing special...but solid bar food unless things have changed.
edit: actually you can sit at world of beer and wild hare will deliver from next door. world of beer chicks will arrange it.
notice: world of beer is NOT cheap.

That's cool. Good know, probably won't have than 1 beer anyway since I'll be driving, but with a chance to visit a place that has that many beers on tap, can't miss that one.
Just go to the lizards thicket.
Pic Sigs are for losers.
Heard that place is pretty good, isn't like country soul food?
Yup. It doesnt look like it would be good but it is and its cheap. Its relatively close to campus but outside of the city limits I believe.
I wasn't a big fan of maurices. I love BBQ but it was definitely not as good as i expected.

Awesome. Only going to be able to go to one place, hard to decide, a lot of good suggestions...I'm not a fan of BBQ at all anyway.
