It's truly amazing that he took an absolutely horrific "quarterback" and dominated the SEC.
Tebowmania may have captivated the NFL last season, but Tim Tebows a savior. More than a dozen Jets players and members of the organization painted a sobering picture of the player.

I think it's fairly obvious that sheer athleticism goes a lot further in CFB than it does in the NFL, hence why a lot of "terrible" QBs can do so well in college and not in the pros. Michael Vick, JaMarcus Russell, Tim Tebow... the list goes on and on.
Sure, in the WAC maybe. But the SEC is just like the NFL.
Tebow had 6 4th quarter and overtime come from behind wins last year. Don't agree often with Skip but he's right..people resent the attention he gets. Hell we all did when he was at Florida...
I'll admit, I hated him much less after he went to the NFL.
I find myself rooting for the guy....
I just can't imagine, regardless of how little he's improved, not giving him a shot after the abysmal play of Mark Sanchez. Hell, if they both suck, give McElroy a shot. What have you got to lose at this point? The only reason they won't bench Sanchez is because they paid too much money for him, and I hate that the NFL works that way.
I don't think Rex wanted Tebow...and he has spewed so much bluster over Sanchez that he refuses to bench him.

No the B1G.
Which according to SEC fans is no different than the WAC.
Maybe but why aren't Tebow's teammates demanding that he play.
The Corch worked wonders with Timmy. But consider this... Both Pouncey's, Maurice Hurt, and Marcus Gilbert are starting Olinemen in the NFL. Tebow had the privilege of playing behind that line and throwing to Riley Cooper, Percy Harvin, Louis Murphy, David Nelson, and Aaron Hernandez who are all starting WR's (and TE) in the NFL. The supporting cast he had was phenomenal. I can't stop without mentioning Timmy's OC Dan Mullen and OL coach (OC for a year) Addazio are both now head coaches.
Timmy had great coaches, great supporting cast, and was incredibly effective as a result. He's a good guy and I wish him all the best, but he was not great by himself, he was a big part of a great team. He was a great leader on that team, but they were great together because they were all very good doing what they were asked to do.

Resentment. If they go on body of work how could they question him?
Yeah he wanted 3 rings instead of 2
They actually see him in practice everyday?
Less than 20% of the snaps if not fewer. Like I said...they blow and he took a team that had no business to the Playoffs and got a win. I'll take that over a team of experts that can't win anything.
It's not a popularity contest. Their careers depend on winning games.
Then Tim should have been starting from day 1. The moment they brought in Tebow..Sanchez and his fragile state of mind were history. Nice route taken to say you agree with me...
The coach isn't starting him because of a grudge and his teammates simply haven't seen enough of his amazing talents.
Da nah nah...nah nah nah
They ripped him pretty good.
Not a big fan of Teblow or Urban Leyer... but to continue your point he did it with Teblow running only 3 plays.
1. Teblow up the middle
2. Teblow up the right
3. Teblow up the left
All SC 's qbs suck in the NFL. Palmer was the best since..............well, nobody. Palmer had a nice 10 game stretch then sucky.
I'd take Tebow over any of those douchers any day.
Always respected the guy.
I never made that assertion...you're talking yourself in circles. I said resentment is part of the issue they are talking bad about him never said anything about why he isn't starting. Get back on track after all this was your thread!
Guy cant throw a football. The Jets dont have near the defense or running game that Denver had, Tebow would be horribly exposed.
Not guilty y'all got to feel me
Maybe but Sanchize IS getting exposed....soooooo....
