Lol Clowney would've got his shit pushed in. Some guys itt just don't understand the caliber of the nfl I guess
Not one HS player could ever compete on the NFL level straight away.
Sure they could. Very few, and only at select positions, running back probably being the easiest. Fournette could at the very least make a 53 man. AP, Bo, Marcus Dupree..... Guys that were physically developed very early. Shit Fournette looked like a college RB as a freshman
Cam could probably start in the NFL at 21, but not yet.
Then again, he may be able to start at 19 if he goes to LSU...
He wouldn't even make an NFL roster. He would even get a contract to try out...lol....lol. If he losses reps against other high school DEs he has no chance at the NFL at this age....lol.
I guess some coaches that said he probably could are wrong then? Do you know more than NFL coaches?
I saw some plays on televised games where he actually got blocked by kids that didn't even have d1 offers. But he's gonna start in the nfl straight out of hs? I seriously doubt he had the strength to even compete vs a nfl linemen. No reason to be so defensive. With a college strength and conditioning program he has become the best player in college football. You think he played like a NFL starter his first year?? He would've got drafted high because of his POTENTIAL
Which coaches said that?
I remember watching Clowney his frosh year of college. He couldn't have played in the NFL that year, no way.
Clowney could've played OLB in the NFL his Sr. year probably not starting though.
If he commits to Bama, then the obvious answer is yes. If he commits elsewhere then the obvious answer is no.
Tyson was knocking out man strength when he was 18 in a much more physical sport
This may be the dumbest question I've seen on tBB in my relatively short time here
He would get abused physically and mentally by NFL players
Come on now the kid is pretty good for HS level but the pro's come on man, and by the way he struggled with Gerald Willis III he only won 1 out of 5 battles against him, so to answer your question he has alot to learn before we put him in that category.
Gotta love Cam's attitude and reply.
Great kid and a great athlete, but I'm waiting for him continue to develop and refine his skills at LSU before becoming a 1st round pick after 3 years.
I wouldn't say more physical at all.
Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
Fournette? The guy hasn't even played a college down yet.
I'm with Kite....no HS player could compete at that level.
He could start ONE down. That's the victory kneel.
