You heard it here first.
Hope you're right but are you saying this because you read it on some message board or you think you have someone that knows someone that knows someone that knows someone that knows either the Auburn staff or DC?
Yeah I will believe it when I see a link
He should stay at FSU imo.
Without self-knowledge there is no individuality
Actually heard this yesterday from Bushido.
Winston, Casher, Shanks on the roster. Would be a loss but we got our money's worth.
How is he in Georgia? I still think we need a stud recruiter in that area and we don't seem to have one yet.
He's just good period but he has some pretty remarkable influence in Bama. Auburn should put him in mobile and maybe BHam and that's it. Don't spread him thin, just let him take over 1-2 key cities.
Somewhere more important....yes
Just pick a county that's important, preferably with a lot of defensive talent and older coaches, let Ellis only have that county and nowhere else.
Corey Clark tweeted that he heard rumors that Auburn is throwing an insane sum at Craig. If so my best wishes to dude. You are worth as much as someone is willing to pay, so if Auburn is willing to go way above market value for him he has to cash that check. I don't know if I would be so happy if I were a Tiger though. Yeah he can recruit, but his coaching ability is a question mark imo. At FSU Jimbo coaches QBs and at USA its not like he was making All American WRs. Coaching WR isn't like RBs where you can hide someone who just recruits. Auburn could end up like UF for a couple of years where you just waste 4* after 4* at the WR spot.
You forget who their WR coach was the last 4 years.
I know it'll get glossed over, but losing staff is worse to me than losing recruits. Especially if it's not something like guys leaving for promotions or leaving for their alma mater (which in this case/and Stoops is accurate).

with Troopa' no longer Cjiz dancing at Marsha's Village they may be looking to fill the "role". all Craig would need is a towel & a new aU cap.

Would be a huge hire and most people would agree.
TURDS ALL UP IN THIS MUG. /// "2010 Auburn Tigers, my favorite team. Unbeaten in all ways." -- Dan Wetzel, April 4, 2013, 6:29 p.m.
HAHA from who? We all heard this then on the boards. Could it happen yes. Is it a slam dunk? No
Where have we heard this before...hmmmmm
Black Bushido or White Bushido?
Agree. Contrary to what many fans will admit, every staff has hired gun recruiters where their coaching ability is a distant 2nd in importance. College football is about recruiting and Craig is worth the hire for that reason alone. The guy can recruit, no matter the means in which he goes by doing it. Also think he can recruit anyone, anywhere in the country. He just connects with kids. Does a great job in LA(doesn't always come down to getting the signature) and I've yet to find out exactly what strong ties he has there.
That was a HUGE upgrade compared to our WR coach there under Tommy Tubb...
If you are saying Lower Alabama, he is from there and coached at USA and Tuskegee...
after a good nights sleep, well
They could definitely use him under center. Starter from day one, IMO.
The poster was an LSU fan so ... gonna assume he was talking about Louisiana.
If it's Louisiana then it's because he is from Mobile and coach at USA. Mobile is pretty close to Louisiana.
