"There is something about the academics. You just have to try to do the work," he said. "They lead the SEC in academics."
If USCe told him they lead the SEC in academics, they either straight up lied to him or used some pretty damn deceptive statistics. No one but Vandy can say this.
I guess he could have meant that best academics meant easiest academics.
We might not lead the SEC in academics, but there is do denying that grades etc have improved since Spurrier got here. Our facilities and academic facilities have greatly improved as well. When Spurrier arrived he said we were at the bottom of the SEC with facilities. Glad to see recruits have taken notice.
Lastly, seems like a little butt hurt. Go ahead and say it...."he is small" right? Lol...He also is a 2015 recruit, so he has plenty of time to grow. Devin Taylor came in on the smaller side as well. We see how that turned out.
“It’s the education part,” [Adolphus] Washington continued. “I know all these schools athletically can offer me the same thing. The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you’re giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail.”
Why would he be butt hurt for quoting the kid? And he never said he was small. USCjr fans sure get defensive about nothing. He wanted to play in the 4-3 and he didn't want to have to try in school. South Carolina is a perfect fit IMO
When recruits say they are looking at academics they mean a place that they can skate through with minimal effort.
Where did you get that quote? or did you just happen to have it stored in the ol noggin for this 1 special time?

Can't forget Cardale Jones epic quote about school being stupid for football players as well.
OP should read that saying about glass houses IMO.
Took about 1 second on google to find.
Hello, and welcome to Quotes Taken Out Of Context And Used To Make Fun Of A Schools 10th best DE prospect, who just committed to Ohio State. Adolphus, why did you choose the Buckeyes?
It has nothing to do with "glass houses"
It has to do with being funny.... You can't tell me this shit aint funny... haha
and smh... at least he didnt say he had to try to fail...
I was going off of what was said in the Arden Key thread on your board.
I think he is a perfect fit as well.
Both are funny, and I'm just trolling.
I'm sure both were taken out of context and meant more about support system than how easy said school was,
Yeah I just googled it.
Cincinnati (Ohio) Taft five-star DE Adolphus Washington talked with 247Sports on Monday evening about his college decision. He made his intentions public on Tuesday morning.
Garcia had no common sense, but he had brains. His brother went Ivy League.
Oh shit.... I guess I should of gotten upset then, and went on a rant about how much I hate Michigan right?....
damn, I missed that opportunity...
From his HS teammate after that same visit:
"The way they do the academics" stood out, Green says. "They help you out and make sure you get your work done. If you're struggling in a subject, they have a certain tutor that helps you in that subject that will help you out with getting your grades up or whatever the case will be. I think that's really important to me, just because after college, you want to have a backup plan to football."
I'm hardly "butt hurt." I didn't say anything about Key being small. I just quoted the kid. Stop being so sensitive.
He's a better fit in the 4-3 at South Carolina. Good luck to the kid. UGA will be fine without him, though.
You are taking this WAY to seriously...
Garcia was actually very good in the classroom. Had two brothers that graduated from Harvard. Guy just liked the booze a little too much
a little too much is an understatement
I know several. You don't?
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
