According to JC on the twitter, Hand's top five are Bama, Michigan, UNC, USCe, and Virginia Tech
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
Hand seems like a really genuine & level headed kid, so it will be nice to follow a #1's recruitment without getting trolled on the reg. Also, as a Bammer, it's nice not going up against LSU, Florida, UGA etc on a player like this for once. UNC doesn't even register with me, VaTech is dormant at the moment, Michigan seems to be coming back but simply isn't there yet, and USCe has the best defensive player in decades & hasn't reached a BCS bowl yet so if he were to go there I'm not too concerned with that either (And just for the record it's very impressive what Spurrier has done there but ill believe USCe as a national power when I see it).

Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams,
telling myself it's not as hard as it seems - Led Zeppelin
you guys think he's a VT lock and just playing, or is there a race here?
I was optimistic until I saw Alabama.
Seems like a completely necessary opinion to share.
I guess I should have put a #JustSaying in there. My b.
Its VT and Bama imo.. I think he stays close to home.
Atleast he wanted a challenge
We have a lot better shot than most think. Long way to go
Would be happy with either Hand or Lorenzo Carter, who might end up #1 before the end of the cycle... or both.
JC had quotes from Hand who said his relationship with Michigan coaches was very strong, or the best.
Hard to be optimistic though when his list features several local schools, and Bama. Sounds like Michigan has a shot, but it will be a dogfight for sure.
If you mean Spirrier then I agree. I despise him & always have because he's an unbelievable troll/prick and always will be. What he's done at USCe can't be denied though. Two 11 win seasons at USCe with tough schedules is very impressive as I said earlier. USCe is still the only team to *soundly* beat Bama since Saban got it rolling in '08.
I agree. Was just saying not anyone would have taken on this challenge
Prolly goes to Bama, Saban's been dipping into VA recently....Tech is laughable
Fortunately UNC registers with Hand.
This is a UNC/VT/Bama battle with the Hokies being his most likely destination.
I would be surprised if Bama, they play a 3-4 and he is prototypical 4-3 end.
Even tho we have a 3-4 defense, we play 4-3 almost all the time.
Funny that a bammer isn't worried about South Carolina, considering the last time they played they got that ass whooped by two touchdowns. Your university let Stephen Garcia dismantle you

Obvious troll is obvious. I acknowledged you flat out bearing us so I'm not really sure what you're trying to get at...
As for *my university,* three out of four bro. #FeelsGoodMan
Well that wasn't very nice.
Haha.. yeah UM has no chance despite having his favorite coaching staff.
Plus, we have the highest rated engineering program of his favorite schools, and that's what he wants to major in.
But no.. No chance in this one.
This label (3-4) is the main reason we lacked developed pass rushers on this years team. I mean yeah, our base D is a 3-4, but realistically we were only in it ~20% of the time.
I think you'll see Saban pull a few true elite 4-3 type ends in the next few years and the generalization will go away. The opportunity for a prospect like Hand/Clowney/Nkemdiche at Bama, especially for early PT, is incredible.
I can understand the turnoff for true 4-3 DT types, though.
Tell us more almighty knowing one!!!
