Wish this Buckeye could have gotten the chair.
Casey Anthony walked away a free woman after she was found not guilty in the 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, but damning computer evidence that the Orange County Sheriff’s Office had in their possession could have changed the verdict in the high-profile Florida case, according to a Click Orlando report.
Wow I wonder if they will bring her back in
One can only hope.
Not damning evidence imo
Never going to get this girl on first degree murder
We kicked her out of our state.
Which state accepted her with open arms?
Why does Florida suck?
Better than any midwest state
Clearly better at prosecuting IMO
Can't. Double Jeopardy.
Lol. So where is this FSU hatred of tOSU coming from? I mean, it doesn't matter. We're used to irrelevant, small time programs hating us, but come on. We haven't played in over a decade.
Doesn't double jeopardy pretty much exclude her from getting punished on anything to do with her daughters murder?
It's so fvcked up that this chick murdered her child, somehow got away with it, and somehow is probably getting rich off of it.
Only team that can beat Bama bro....well them and aTm...but one school actually did it.
I think the presence of new evidence can reopen a case. Plus, doesn't Double Jeopardy generally only apply when found guilty?
I have no idea.
My thoughts were that once found innocent of a crime, you could not be charged with anything to do with that crime in the future. Once you lose you lose for good.
Saw something like that on Law and Order the other day
I don't understand this either
Like with the SEC, you've never beaten us either
You may be right. I thought DJ was about you can't be punished for a crime you've already been punished for.
She can't be charged with first degree murder again, regardless of new evidence. They will just have to find a new crime and a new charge and put her away on that - kinda like OJ. Another state will get this done.
FWIW, the state of Florida Judicial System grades out as an F, not just with Casey Anthony, but in all aspects of law and justice. That is what we call a FACT for those with a Florida law degree.
