He just said "We are sorry for those who affected by Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath going on right now."
Genius I tell you, genius.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I was about to start a thread about it.
What an idiot!
"There's going to be a lot of people who didn't stand with us who are going to be remembered for not standing with us." - Al Golden
What wrong with showing sympathy for those affected by Hurricane Katrina? Some people still havent recovered
Not guilty y'all got to feel me
What the hell are you talking about? Screw those poor people, if they haven't recovered yet, it's their own damn fault! Take some personal responsibility!
Worst commissioner of all time!
There is a lot of butthurt in most of your posts. Did republicans piss in your coffee at work?
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
Remember when Stern was the "cool" commissioner in sports and Bud Selig was seen as a bumbling idiot? Now Stern is hated and Selig is the best commissioner in sports by default (Stern, Goodell, and Bettman all hated)
One shit in my trashcan
They tend to do that as a sign of admiration
Yeah.. It's so easy to forget Mothers, Fathers and Daughters/Sons being killed in that storm.
I think he was being sarcastic
Tell that to Scooter or other guys on our site that had some truly effed up things happen to them in that storm.
Anyways, sorry for being a little stuck up here, still don't care for the Katrina jokes.
Nope. That belongs to his understudy, Bettman.
Fay Vincent sucked hard as well. Thank goodness he didn't last long.
To say recover would mean that at one point they were covered, so to speak.
This is what happens when you spend 30 years of your life working with some of the dumbest human beings on the face of the planet. It eventually rubs off on you.
Are you being serious ?
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Dude, come on. You've seen me post on this site, do you really think that I could possibly believe that? I have relatives who lived in the Lower 9th and whose house was practically obliterated. The FEMA response to Katrina was pathetically mismanaged by Michael Brown, one of the worst examples of cronyism in recent years. The contrast between disaster relief and recovery efforts post-Katrina and post-Sandy are night and day.
Trust me, I was being completely and totally sarcastic. As someone who had relatives with a house in the lower 9th, I'm well and truly aware of the destruction Katrina wrought. Storms like Katrina and Sandy are why this country needs truly effective disaster relief management - the FEMA response to Katrina was just unconscionably bad.
