Cane coaches doing some pretty intriguing negative recruiting so far this year. Telling Kevin Olsen all their OWN QBs suck and telling our DT targets FSU basically has 8 NFLers at DT and they'll never play.
I have faith that our coaches will get him back in the fold
let's move on kid is too short to play DT
Like I said on the homeboard size does not matter if you can get leverage. Just look at Sapp and Raji who are both 6'1 at best.
Why does it have to be negative recruiting? Why can't the kid just see a better future for himself somewhere other than Tallahassee?
You expect us to believe that? Derp.
Still waiting for a reason...
What kind of parent names their son Deadrin..really. Harry's bad, Martha, Oscar, Leon, Opie.....but wtf? What's the world coming to?
Then again, my old man almost named me WolfGang

Miami is a dumpster fire. They will struggle to get bowl eligible this year and without any further issues will still likely be worse in 2013 and yet further "issues" are coming in the way of sanctions. There's a single sole reason Miami won't totally collapse and that's because they are in the biggest hotbed of talent in America and they are separated from the other Lower 48 by about 8 hours of driving time that can bore a man to tears.
Why are FSU commits looking to go to Miami anyway? Didn't Bain talk about playing there as well (while somehow saying he wass 100% committed to FSU)?
Playing in Miami will get you to the NFL, its a fact
Am sorry but our QB's do suck, just look @ the spring game and FSU fans keep barging about how they have defence full of future NFL players, so hows that a negative recruiting
Not it isn't... it might help your chances but just playing in or at Miami doesn't guarantee anything....
In the last 2 years we had 14 players drafted, i think thats second to Alabama and tied with USC.
So what does that say about miami when y'all were 13-12 in those two years while FSU 19-8 in that same time span with only seven players drafted and all of them being seniors while miami had a lot of underclassmen leave early when they should have stayed one more year.
My point was why commit in the first place? FSU isn't hurting in churning out NFLers.
/Don't let me get in the way of this Florida e-penis contest... Carry on.
Exactly that is the problem, we were recruiting players under Shannon who's intentions were to get drafted into NFL and were not interested in winning in college, i believe Coach Golden will change that culture in coming years

But your statement comes off as if any and all Miami players are in the NFL... that isn't a fact.....

Senat did the right thing by giving our coaches plenty of notice. Not really concerned about losing him, though.
Senat's position (1-Tech DT) will be one of FSU's deepest in 2013:
He would be 5th string.
I agree not all of them are in the NFL but they got drafted thats the point, its up to them to make the team that drafted them,
14 got drafted.... you make it sound like all you have to tell the NFL is I played at Miami and you get drafted.... you said play for Miami you play in NFL is a fact.... which it isn't....
More players drafted than USC or Bama.........
All that shows is we've had talented players who have underachieved in college.
Kids that think If I go to Miami I'll get drafted won't work hard. They play for mediocre football teams that produce mediocre results.
The NFLU moniker has given our recent recruits an inflated sense of self worth.
All these kids see the end result they don't see the process.
The process is what made the former players great.
Great players built Miami. Miami didn't build great players. All these recent kids are wiping their asses with the Miami logo.
Not a damn one of them has left the place better than they found it.
Preach...... finally it has been said...
