I think so. Good CB, but nothing spectacular. Definitely not a shutdown CB. A solid #2 CB.IMO. I dont think hes in the same class as Mo Claiborne, P Peterson, or even Joe Haden. Thoughts???? I also remember Jhonny Football abusing him.
I agree. Thought Dre was every bit of good.
You need to watch that game again. He is the best CB in CFB in 2012 and I do not recall Johnny Football abusing him. He held his coverage longer than what is normally required but JF's scrambling ability allowed his WR to get open. Not many of those completed to the man DM was covering. He will be the first CB taken in the draft.
Ist Rounders usually are. Guess that why you are you and not in the big time.
Milliner has been a shutdown corner all year, not to mention being a terrific tackler in run support. Op is either 1)trolling or 2)ignorant. #1 gets my vote.

"If 'pro' is the opposite of 'con' what is the opposite of 'progress'?" -- Paul Harvey
Milliner getting "abused" by Johnny Foosball has been more overblown than the Mayan calendar. He got beat on one gall dern throw. SMH.

Millner played well this season and Lord knows the Saints need a guy like him.
Personally, I'm on the Jonathan Banks bandwagon but both are very good CB's.. I just think Banks will make a better pro.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I'm taking your Joe Morgan boom or bust pick, by the way.
Oh for real? Nice, I hope it works out for you man. If he does nothing, don't blame me! But give me credit if he scores of course ha
Dude is a future stud though, he should breakout next season for sure

At this point I'm just glad to have RGIII back lol.
I like Banks but he didn't have a better year than Milliner...aaaaaaanndd Delta just showed up. God help us.
I'm not going to debate that. I just personally think Banks will be a better pro.
I remember being called a homer before the season when I said Milliner was the best CB in the country. Who would have thought picking a a guy 6'2" who runs a 4.3 and is coached by Saban would have worked out? Just lucky I guess....
"Because Bama now sucks just like FSU used to suck when we were getting dominated by OU. Does it make sense now?"- Sliger (FSU Fan)
Nah man.. Didn't say he would be a bust.. I just think Banks will make a better pro for some reason.
Weedline, lets wait for the combine before I believe that. If he runs a 4'3'' and measures every bit of 6'2'', then I'll be highly impressed.. I don't care what you say, once I see it, I'll believe it but as of now.. I'm a Banks guy
I think Milliner will have a better combine than Banks will. I think Milliner had a better season, and QBs started to target Deion Belue a whole lot more down the stretch. I think Milliner will be a higher draft pick, but Banks will be a solid pick. tifwiw but many scouts had Milliner as the best CB at Alabama last year, and that included DreKirk and Menzie, but Banks seemed to be hurt off and on this season, because AJ threw on him all game.
Hate to rep a Bama guy but I love DM's family, he went to my high school, definitely not overrated.

redmill the world ended yesterday & you were simply left behind. oops jeezr H the entire world was left behind.
He's been good, but far from shut down.

You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
Milliner isnt Patrick Peterson imo but he will likely be the first CB off the board in the 13' Draft.
as for the combine you may as well get ready....Milliner's a rangy 6-1ish corner with legit 4.35 speed.
his stock will soar after his wee-wee shorts work out at the combine.

Bama abused banks. Went after him for a ton of big plays. He was toasted often.
Fwiw, DM isn't patrick peterson. But mo clay was super over rated
Best tackling CB in the game. Will be a solid pro #2 CB for years.

Who won the Thorpe award as the best corner this year?
Milliner is definitely the top CB in the draft and had a very good year. The overrated part I can see but based only on where he'll get drafted. He'll get drafted in the top 10 range and he's just not that elite a prospect. It has more to do with this being a draft without those lock franchise type guys. This is a draft full of boom or bust type 1st round guys and basically that means a lot of kids will be drafted higher than they would ordinarily or be pegged as overrated based purely on where they're drafted. Milliner falls in that category with guys like Mingo. Guys extremely talented but not really those guys that are seen as sure fire boom prospects.
