To the rose bowl, that the big ten will never play in the BCS again.
With the advent of super conference's tradition is being bucked anyway. So why should they keep the rose bowl exclusive between the B1G & pac 12. Open it up & let anyone play in it. It's not like it mean's anything anymore.
Because the big ten will never be close to any roses or trophies again!
Urban Meyer says hi.
You realize Urban basically got ran out of the Southeast once his superstud coordinators and Tebow left him right?
He's a charismatic recruiter but your coordinators and QB better win you titles as much as Urban will.
You realize Urban Meyer won 2 NCs in 6 years at a BCS school, right?
Lol. Michigan and tOSU are recruiting with the big boys of the south right now, better in many cases. Both of those teams will make MNC before Auburn.
You're full of crap
You realize he quit when Saban whipped his ass every year and never beat Tommy Tuberville... ever. That's what kind of cry baby biatch he his
Hey pain you have come back. Good. I will support your attack in the sissy 10
Don't like having to defend Auburn this much, but you might think about picking a team that didn't just win a BCS Championship 15 months ago or so as your example.
I would agree with you about tOSU though. They probably will win one again before Auburn, but when is the last time Michigan won an outright National Title?
Nice to see you too. I hope we have a 4 team play off with the best 4 teams in it... 3 will be from the SEC.
Why does MICH think they're amazing all of a sudden? One season.
It's been a while. I like the qualifier for outright, don't see many Bama fans talking about outright when they brag about 14 though.
Auburn also had Cam Newton. If they get another Cam Newton, I'll agree. There has been one of those pretty much ever.
I'd bet the farm Michigan gets to an NC before Auburn.
I don't think Mich is amazing. I just think they are better than Auburn.
1983 Sugar Bowl
DEL GRECO FOR THE WIN!!!!
That would be like saying you owe an entire 10 win season to Denard. Players are on a team. You could say that Texas has pretty much just had Vince Young. Why should a team have to make excuses for having a great player? Makes no sense.
National Championships were decided much differently before 1998. That's why. I have no problem with Michigan claiming 1997 and they should as it was awarded to them along with Nebraska. My point is that it is much tougher now as you do have to beat that "other" team instead of getting to play a lower ranked team in the Rose, Sugar, Orange, or Cotton Bowls and that Michigan team may not have beaten Nebraska if they would have had to play for the title like they would have in this system. I just don't think it makes sense to jump on a program and say that can't win one or there is no way they will win one again before you when they have very recent history of doing just that.
An Auburn fan making this post = insanely ironic.
Say what you want, but other conferences would kill to have Delany as their Commish. The BTN was brilliant, the Big Ten added the most recognizable program in conference realignment and struck a deal with the PAC-12 which will create a hell of a lot of synergy in the years to come. He has been brilliant. He may be an ass, but you can't deny the results.
