HUGE discussion in class today regarding nationality. The teacher put together a slideshow with about 30 different people (simple head shots just them looking at camera) with a few celebrities mixed in there too. She told us to write down what nationality we thought the persons in the slideshow to be. For example 93% of the class determined Brad Pitt to have German descent. Bob Marley (obviously black) but me being Marley fan knew his father was white. Class was surprised to find that out about him.
Besides the obvious, white, black, Asian, Latino etc...is there any way to determine someones nationality just by looking at them? I mean for example is there a way to determine if someone is Polish as opposed to German?

If they are shaped like a potato they are Mexican.
Yeah teacher was going on about color of eyes, hue of the individuals skin, she said there's even ways to detect a persons nationality through how they smile. Crazy stuff.
Not true about Marley, he's black therefor he does not know who his father is.
I think it's easy, but I've been around the world a lot. I can tell you if somebody is peruvian or senegalese just by a headshot. Ivorian, Somalian, Danish as well, but like I said, I've traveled and lived in different places for extended periods of time.
Once you can figure out the difference between Mexicans,Honduras, El Salvadorans , Brazilian, Dominicans and Haitians.. you are getting somewhere
Dominican Republic and Haiti share the same island, yet look way different. Haitians look black and Dominicans are Latino looking
Steve Spurrier is a God, and Mark Richt worships him
My question is why do some people choose to be black, some white, and some mixed?

Why do people choose to be black white and mixed?
Yes. It's just weird.
87% thought Danica Patrick is Irish. Then they all admitted they decided that from her last name.
I pegged her to have German blood.
What do you mean choose?
Like why would someone choose to be black? Or choose to be Mexican? Or choose to be white? Why does someone pick one over the other?
In what context?
I don't understand what you're asking
I'm assuming your white Irish? Why did you choose to be that? Why didn't you choose to be Mexican?
I'm actually German Irish and I didn't choose it??
Throw some headshots up for quizzes MickMarley
Polish dudes have a shaved head and think that Adidias Track suits are still cool.
Slavs tend to have Asian features, a by product of Genghis Khan, so they tend to have higher cheekbones and squintier eyes.
My wife is Russian, she can look at a person and say they are Russian before they even speak, so there are definitely features that give it away.
My last name is Lafrance, guess what my nationality is
Or is that not a nationality yet?
If it is then definitely homosexual
