Devidee gets a full 24 hours on the front page, it's the least we can do.
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
I heard that the guy who bet Devidee isn't even on the Blue Board and thus, the bet would've been pointless if Devidee won it. However, he will honor his word, despite the fact that the other bettor seems to be a first class flake. I think he should have to show his face on tBB in order for Devidee to have to serve the ban. I won't take the word of another Meatchicken fan who, for all we know, is pretending to act on his behalf.

Genius work here.
Feed me to the wolves, and I will return leader of the pack. #FreeDA
Devidee is going to honor the bet regardless.
Most UM fans are no longer on the BB...the petition thread went all wrong for them and they've since gone into hiding....

My understanding is the poster who made the bet lost access to tBB when they made it VIP only. I think this happened for a number of Michigan posters who aren't interested in paying $10/month for a team site that isn't complete.
The only poster who left cause of the petition or chik-fil-a was butte. Never got a straight answe from the mods as to what happened there.
We don't know why he left.
What everyone doesn't know is that this is devidees greatest troll ever. He no doubt has information and already knows dymonte will flip to the bucks. He's only playing this out so he can shove everyone's sympathy back in their face. Good work, son
Which is precisely why the bet should be null and void. That cat was not going to be on tBB regardless of whether or not he won or lost the bet. He literally had nothing to lose. On the other hand, tBB is a place where Devidee is well respected (and doesn't mind paying his $10 a month to hang, you know, in addition to Bucknuts). The whole situation smells like Ann Arbor, IYAM.
I have a pretty good idea, but never got a straight answer about his temporary ban.
Allowing mods who have personal issues with posters to unneccesarily ban them, even for short times, will cause people to post less or simply leave.
I know Neo is still over there...unless he recently left there as well
You have no idea why he was banned. You might think you know.
I remember the ordeal well and his banning was just.
When the bet was made the Michigan had no idea tBB was going turn into a VIP only board. I honestly don't even know why that happened.
Don't worry, I'm sure it won't be long til dev creates an alias to post under.
Does that thread still exist BTW, or did they remove it? I never saw his meltdown but I heard it was quite the spectacle to behold.
It was spread out over several threads IIRC.
He started bumping Chic Fil A threads for no reason.
I know only what I was told by the people who were willing to give me info. You are welcome to share what you feel is the real reason he was banned any time you like.
And Butte is not the only poster who felt he was singled out by a mod who, for whatever reason, had an axe to grind.
Full disclosure: I have a free lifetime membership to Bucknuts / tBB.
When we were in Vegas Noah bet me that I wouldn't strip naked and swim the full length of the Bellagio fountain pool.
Apparently I don't lose every drunken, idiotic bet I make.
So are BN posters going to be banned for bumping 26-21 thread? Who makes the call on what can and can not be bumped?
I'd just like clarification on the rules so I know what not to do.
Is neoavatara (won the bet) going to pay for premium like he said he would? Otherwise, that would be a welch and would free Dev of his e obligation.
Butte got banned for his Chic-fila disobedience and hasn't returned.
The Michigan board is free, which is why he and others still post there.
When tBB went VIP, it was made very clear that any user who posted and did not have VIP could make their desire known and still be allowed to post. Therefore this reasoning is lazy.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
I can only state what I have read. It could be that Neo was away from the board when the transfer happened and missed it. He still posts on the Michigan board so if Noah wants he can grant him access to tBB. Hell, maybe he is just waiting for dev to leave to start posting again.
Regardless of whether or not you have invested a financial interest in tBB or not, you still have a hell of a lot of prestige. You're a pretty popular guy here. My guess is nobody knew who this neowhateverhisnameis dude was until this bet. You still clearly had more to lose than him. And regardless of whether or not you have something to lose, where is he? If he was to put his Blue Board rights on the line, why isn't he here proving he had something to lose.
I'm calling him out right now. Come here and claim your prize, Neowhatsit. If you can't do that, you have no right to it. And no, that's not an invitation for a paying scUM member to come here and say "He sent me." I want the guy to come here himself and prove he has a vested interest. If he doesn't reveal himself, you shouldn't have to fulfill such a bullshit obligation, because clearly, he wasn't going to either. Just my opinion.
