If you can find some sugar free ginger beer or ale (preferably beer/brew I think ) , you might enjoy some Moscow mules on the diet tip. Can't taste the vodka because the lime juice and ginger brew is so overpoweringly awesome
What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome.--Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
calorie wise i dont think there is a difference between a shot of whiskey and a bud light

But beer has sugar , no? And whisky no sugar?
No for either. In beer sugar is converted to alcohol by the yeast. There is no diff between a shot and a beer calorie-wise. The problem is that it takes way more beer to get a heat going than whiskey. Ergo, more calories.
Good to know. What about red wine and non light beers?
Not really sure about red wine. Non light beers tend to have a little more alcohol but they are also loaded with calories.
I think the biggest thing with alcohol in general is really the calories you take in when you're loaded. The late night pizza, In-and-Out, etc... And then the Taco Bell run the next morning to ease the pain.
I think red wine actually has some health benefits too.
I've done well so far switching to just whiskey. I measure it out but putting it in a shot glass and then put it on ice. 2 shots in each drink. Takes me two of those and then I feel good.
