Of course they have weapons.
But it's not some country where criminals run the land and everyone lives in fear of dudes with guns.
Are you consistently misspelling the names of religions on purpose or are you a bad speller? Because you're all over the board in one post with these two.
Canada sucks. Haven't you seen Canadian Bacon?
Sorry I'm drunk. But you are smart enough to get my point, right?
I'm not a smart man. Names Forest.....
I haven't and I disagree.
Canada is looking sweeter with each passing day.
If you don't like 'murica you should get out.
Seriously Switzerland sounds good about now. I wonder if I can get Bammer games there.
Any truth to the story that you moved there because that's where your RB's head landed after Clowney was done?
I like Murica just fine, especially as our big bad older brother who protects us from the bullies of the world.
But Canada is the tits, eh. (Toronto at least)
To each his own. Cheers!
Never been to Toronto but Vancouver is the shiz
That whole post is a paradox. And a gun Doesn't take a life or save a life. Guns shoot bullets. People take lives or save lives. I don't know why that's so hard to comprehend for some people. If we didn't have guns, we'd still be carrying around swords. Before swords we carried clubs. Before that rocks and sticks. Before that we used our fists to kill or save a life. It sounds silly when you say knives have taken more lives than they have saved. Or machetes have taken more lives than they have saved. They are just tools with multiple purposes. The only common factor is humans and humans kill other humans. Always have always will. And America is a violent country and that won't change by removing the guns. Canada this ain't. All you'd do is change the weapons being used. Jealous husbands would just stab the dude screwing his wife. Robbers would carry machetes or knives. But I could see the number of deaths declining if we magically got rid of all the guns but I also see the crime rate rising with attacks against people increasing greatly. The threat of getting shot prevents all types of crimes. In the South you don't creep around on someone's property at night unless you want to get buckshot in your ass if detected. And our dogs let us know real quick something's up. And my dog is a tool just like my gun. Has my dog saved more lives than its taken? See how silly that sounds. My dog doesn't take a life by barking and letting me know theres a burglar on my property just like my gun doesn't take a life. Its my actions. And I'm thankful for that gun because otherwise I'd have to train my dog to attack or confront the guy with a a knife or my bare fists. And that evens the odds. Not what I'm looking for.
How can you say a gun takes more lives than it saves when you can't measure something that doesn't take place? Criminals don't burst into homes without fear because there's a chance they will be shot. And from where im from in rural Alabama we have guns for other things besides protection. And so does everyone else around here. So you can't say guns are just for saving or taking lives and deem them a failure. People here still feed their family with meat from hunting sometimes. Wether its deer meat and summer sausage or rabbits, squirrells, duck, or quail. Soome of that is good eating. And i use my gun to kill coyotes to protect newborn calves and my dogs. So to me i have saved important lives by using a very helpful tool. I guess i Could kill the coyotes with my compuond bow, but its so much easier shooting them from 250 yards away.
And Just because people have guns for other things besides protection doesn't mean someone can't use that same gun to commit a crime. This country will never ban hunting rifles. Never. Which means criminals would always have access to a gun. So taking away hand guns or assault rifles would leave a large portion of the public vulnerable. Mainly in cities. And women wouldn't be able to carry Saturday night specials in their purses.

He seems right to me
I feel like the USA should be looking at Canada and striving to be more like them, but whatever.
mrriderblue doesn't care what guns are used for, whether people use them for hunting to feed their family, etc. He is an elitist, sensitive liberal weasel from Canada and it is his agenda above all else. He is a narcissist.
He is also so easily angered that he sends PMs to people he doesn't like that sound like they were worded by a pre-pubescent teen.
I'm still trying to figure out why there is a canadian douchebag commenting on matters in our country, like his pussified opinion actually matters.
I told you. He is an elitist. His opinion matters above all else and he must pass that on to us.
But in reality he is just a sensitive douche who was probably picked on in school.
If your religion encourages and rewards you for killing humans you should probably re-examine your beliefs.
You mean like their uncle did?
Is their Uncle a Muslim? Is he in a recognizable position of leadership in their religious community?
That's not why people need guns in America. I need a gun because I probably can't beat up two 6'3, 235lb muscle heads that intend to invade my home and take my stuff(or worse). If they have guns and I have a gun, it's a little more even and , perhaps, not worth their lives to take my tv. If only I have a gun, maybe they leave, get shot or go to jail. It's all about evening the odds or putting them in the good guys favor. That's why the anti-gun argument doesn't make sense to me. Some people aren't able to physically defend themselves at all. The threat that someone around may have a gun and shoot the criminal if he were to rob an old lady, I'm sure, stops there from being more strong arm robberies.
Op has a small mind. Every religion has stupid ass people.
No, a lot of them don't wear shoes and have raw sewage running through the streets. They wipe their ass with their right hand and are affended when you try to shake their hand, understandably. A lot of them believe that a woman's purpose it to bare children and housework only, could be onto something with this belief. Many males believe that men are for pleasure. Crazy what kind of things you might see when sitting on an OP at an unknown location.
Mosque were off limits when we first arrived in Iraq. After a few months that changed a bit due to them harboring folks that hate Americans. It all comes back to religion it's been that way forever and it's not a changing. Whenever I meet someone that's deeply religious, regardless of their religion, it's a huge warning sign to me.
