That is being recruited by your school or team?
Yes or no and a reason why.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

Three W's In My Life: Ward, Weinke, and Winston
Hell naw. I still trip out when I hear about grown ass men hitting up
/adding recruits on Facebook.
I realize there are certain circumstances that are cool, but there aren't many.
I don't use twitter or facebook, I have never have so I don't see why I would start now
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
I tweet them, send them facebooks messages, emails, snail mail. Anything I can do.
Damn I suck.
Lots of people do that, its a very common mistake
I have caught myself do it plenty of times on message boards
No, because it's weird.
[star69] HELL YES. [/star69]
Thanks for picking me up from the ashes!
I do not tweet, period (or use Facebook). Even if I did, it would be extremely creepy for me, a 41 year old woman, to be conversing with 17-18 year old kids.
I did when I was still in college. I have nothing to over recruits other than I could teach them how to ski. Though, teaching skiing to elite athletes is awesome. They can figure some stuff out in a few days better than I can do.
You converse with 24 year old kids all the time.....
You'd probably 'sway them' more than guys at least haha.
What about asking college players for retweets? Admittedly, I follow some of the top players on twitter (have never tweeted at any). Some of them are always retweeting fans who send them tweets like "@BamaPlayer hey man! I'm a huge fan! Can I get a RT?!"
What the hell is the point of that? As if their number of 'followers' is going to go up because people want to follow the guys who get retweeted by college players??
This is not your personal site. It is a site where fans of all ages come to talk sports....and random other things. Actively seeking out a specific 17-18 year old kid to converse with is creepy.
nah...they would enjoy it
some call it seasoned, i call it experienced
My alter ego is Shannon Terry
You look older than your 24 years.
On a side note....I googled Shannon Terry just to make sure he was older than 24 (didn't want to put my foot in my mouth). He made 20M off of Rivals and 247 is doing 5M a year already....wow. I never in a million years would have thought that a recruiting site would be worth that kind of money.
Nope, don't get down like that.
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
It's kind of a big deal
Tweeting and contacting recruits is creepy - pretty telling how some you stalk members of TBB
