Do any SEC teams play offense?
2006 UF says hello
2007 LSU says hello
2008 UF says hello
2009 Bama says hello
2010 Auburn says hello
2011 Bama, Arkansas says hello
2012...just wait, I just want Oregon to play LSU somehow...that would make my day
All you need is enough offense to win a national championship
Something Oregon has never had, not ever
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Auburn rushed the ball 50 times, gained 250+yds rushing, and avg over 5 yds/carry.
Oregon, also a run first squad, ran 32 times for 75 yds, and 2.3 yds/carry.
Auburn was 9-17 on 3rd down
Oregon was 5-15 on 3rd down
Also 2008 OU was >>>>> 2004 OU
False, they were close,
But 04 OU was better
USC is one of the great programs and it became great by playing great defense. Even Pete's best teams, although stocked full of offensive talent, were defensive teams at heart. If USC gets back to playing D like you used to, you will once again dominate the P12. Oregon is stoppable with an elite D (see OSU 2009, Auburn 2010, LSU 2011). But right now no one in the P12 is playing even good let alone great D. Stanford and UW are trying, but they don't have the talent. USC clearly has the talent. It's unfathomable how bad your D is with the talent you have.

Damn u make it too easy, lol.
Oregon- 4 turnovers
LSU- 1 turnover
The logic from the Auburn/Oregon gm was that Auburn did what they set out to do. They ran the ball, and stuffed Oregon's run. Your logic was something about the refs and luck. I guess that makes more sense to you.
2008 Big 12
Texas Tech 11-2
Oklahoma St 9-4
2004 Big 12
Iowa St 7-5
Texas Tech 8-4
Ok St 7-5
Let me slow this down for you:
Oregon is a running team. Auburn's strength on defense was their front 7, mainly the front 4.
Auburn limited Oregon to 2.3 yds/carry. Oregon's best player, by far, was LaMichael James. He had less than 50 yds.
Putting the gm on the arm of D. Thomas was what the Auburn defense wanted to accomplish.
USC is not playing Trojan defense...but, we historically have had strong defensive teams - we know how to play on that side of the ball. That fact is frustrating the hell out of us right now.
While an opponent putting up 60+ points on us is so damn embarrassing, I wouldn't be bragging, as they were before the game, if I were a duck fan about our offense putting up 51 on Oregon. They do not have a good defense, therefore, they are not a balanced team.
"Here are provided seats of meditative joy, where shall rise again the destined reign of Troy." Virgil

Coaching. Monte's a legend, but it's about that time. The fat lady has sung.
What's your record? You lost to nc state. Ill repeat that nc state. ill repeat it again nc state. Have fun in the pets.com bowl
Historically you have national titles too....which you live to reminisce. And no...you don't know how to play on the side of the ball
Ha Ha Ha, how many BCS Titles have Oregon won ? zero, Ill repeat zero, Ill repeat again... Zero
Have fun with that fact never changing, not ever
When you give up 600 yards of offense to a 3 loss team, you define pretending wannabes with no dick in their pants
You looked cute in your flashy uniforms as usual though, congrats for getting something right last night

What's funny is sc would shit on fsu. I hate sc but fsu hasn't had shit in years. I'd love to play you home and homes for the next ten years and show you your memories are just that...distant memories
Yes, titles and trophies spanning most of our history...and you? Rose Bowls? A total of two in your entire history...oregon has played in 25 bowl games, winning only 10. History shows a pattern, enjoy the brief and fleeting glory, float,
You have a rather crappy OOC record, I doubt anyone is shaking in their boots to play you, not any program with a defense that is.
Personally, I enjoy watching teams that have both good O's and good D's. They are rare, but once in a while you see teams with both. To me, a 27-24 game is the most exciting. A 62-61 game is boring and a 3-0 game is boring. When you have two good offenses and two good defenses battling for 60 minutes, both sides are going to have their share of wins and losses on plays.
Too bad that won't happen. LSUoosers!!! 2 loss teams don't play in the NCG. Sorry.
I'm not worried about the elite D's of the SEC this year. Different year, different beast. All Oregon has to do is put up 21 on any SEC team and one ACC team and it's a done deal. No way can any SEC offense play catch up. Just not happening.
Your stupidity is amazing, and I can't wait until you watch Oregon lose and watch disappear from these board
And just for your information
1- I called USCe being a pretender this season since last december..... I was right
2- I said WVU was a pretender well before the season and screamed it after the Baylor win...... I was right
3- I have said all along Oregon is no national title contender and until they beat an elite defense, something they have never done
All of a sudden can cause they beat a 3 loss USCw that plays zero defense makes no sense at all and doesn't show me anything, I thought they would lose yeah.... but hell, they almost did and got embarrassed on defense
You are just like Clemson, FSU would give up some but not as much as you would to us cause you can't stop anybody with talent.... this much is obvious and Clemson has more dangerous skill men than Oregon does, Watkins and Hopkins are far better WR's than anybody Oregon has..... the NFL draft agrees.... and Andre Ellington is twice the NFL prospect of Barner.... Barner is another LMJ, a tiny little McNugget who would get his shit tossed in the NFL
People that understand football aren't fooled and that is obvious on this board, only the media and homer Duck fans like yourself think Oregon is for real
The thing about that is almost always a dominating D will trump a dominant O. Please Ducks, don't come after me on this , I will look up examples and prove it to you, but I don't feel like it
Last year, LSU and Bama put up lots of points on every other team(like 40 on Oregon), except each other. Both offenses were very talented, but against each other, the defenses took control.
A great defense never gives up more than 30-35. Doesn't matter if they are playing the greatest offense of all time
Lol. "Float." The most insipid attempt of a diss ever and you consistently use it over and over. So, so stupid!!! Btw, the "Floats" just beat you by 17 in your house. Scored the most points ever on your Trojans and put up the most amount of yards against the boys of Troy. Oh, and handed you your third loss of the season. Float on.
To quote the great Matt Kalihil. " As long as we ruin your chances at a NC run." I wonder if you all will even make the Rose Bowl? What happened to preseason #1? Or your 75>85? Or Barkley for Heismen? Or Barkleys "unfinished business?" Epic, epic failure of a season.
