I just saw pictures of their crowd from today's game. Wow! I seriously doubt they had more than ten thousand people from the pictures I saw

The biggest bandwagon fan base is and always will be the University of Southern California. That morgue they play in will be half empty every time they get to three or more losses.
YES there is no doubt about it.
Miami is a GREAT sports town. Just ask the Marlins. Wait....
Not guilty y'all got to feel me
Lol why are people surprised at this Miami is a bandwagon town we just came of a huge loss to K-State and we were playing Bethune Cookman. The Orange Bowl wasn't packed even when we were winning sometimes just how it goes.

“I’ve never lost a game I just ran out of time.”
- Michael Jordan
The pictures I saw just showed one side of the stadium, but 90 or 95 percent of the seats on that side were empty
It's simple in a city like Miami, if you win the fans will come and we aren't winning of late. simple as that
FL as a whole is pretty bandwagon
biggest and fanbase are never used together for Miami

About 20k less... except more since there weren't actually 40k at Miami. Not that I saw.
What is so bad about having a bandwagon fanbase? Serious question.
LOL the picture is a troll, the stands behind goal posts were mainly full.

Standing room only.
Whats the big deal about not selling out against horrible teams? Especially in FL when ppl can go to the beach, on the boat, etc...
Personally I hate bandwagon fanbases because they dont know much about the sport or players.. they are ignorant to what teams are really good and why they are then bitch when they arent ranked as high as another team.
WHy its bad for the team to have BW fans is
-if their team has a bad year they dont buy tickets, donate or do anything to help the team.. so that program suffers
You need consistent fans and donors to have a consistent program
Ya they took a pic of the visiting side. The pic I took was of the visiting side of fsufsu stadium. Just to show its easy to make it look bad. Our attendance is not good, be we should only have a 50k stadium.
I watched some of the game. Didn't simply go off one picture. I'd guess actual attendance was 25k.
As soon as UF got bad last year they stopped selling out the stadium...every team has band wagon fans. If you suck...you won't sell out.
25 k against Bethune isn't bad. when FSU and VT come to town it will be triple that.
Major Difference. Teams like that still get big crowds and still have high priced tickets with donation requirements..doesnt have to be sell out every time
Teams like Pitt, Miami etc play in pro stadiums, sell tickets at a fraction of the cost- comp thousands to companies and still dont get the crowds
Not to mention they make Less money in a sellout than Florida would make in a 70% full game
I agree. I wouldn't say the attendance today was bad given the circumstances. I'm just saying I think the reported number is inflated.
Gay argument. Neither team has drawn consistently against bad teams, even during good years
Cool post about money, but what does that have to do with bandwagon fans
Really? How many people live in the metro Miami area vs Tally?
Personal expenses to travel are much higher for FSU. Both sides can make plenty of excuses for bad attendance. They are just that though, excuses.
