I thought these were for bad guys. Apparently their going to use them to spy on ur grandmother while she feeds robot humming birds. So much for freedom.
From Yahoo! News: Most of the drones that have begun to appear in the skies above the U.S. homeland don't resemble the Predators or Reapers flown by the U.S. military and CIA above Afghanistan and Pakistan. Instead, these smaller versions of flying, unmanned vehicles almost rival the animal kingdom in their diversity.
im sayin now u fly one of those above my property its comin down.
And we all hate those red light cameras. Just wait till some state law enforcement figures out how to use these things to increase revenue by increased tickets its coming. Just when not if
They were showing on cnn law enforcement using them to bust people growing pot in their back yards.
Nice! Unmanned target practice!!!! Haha, no different than choppers or other aircraft "on training flights" that's been happening for years. Cheaper/safer for Big brother to do his thing.

No warrant needed if they're flying within the "navigable airspace" a certain height above ground. That's according to the Supreme Court.
Yeah this has been in the works for awhile.
The FAA has been mapping out traffic routes and such.
Private companies can buy drones too, so it not just the government that can watch you.
Like most Americans, I would be pretty pissed about this, but CNN is talking about Oscar Pritorious, Fox is telling me Obama is a relative of Jack the Ripper, and I got to watch American Idol tonight.

$%^$ those %^@%ing pieces of shit. $125 my ass.
How to you propose to take it down?
He's from the south, so he may be able to just lasso it down.
Haha, I'm from the south but thinking you can take a drone down is laughable. I guess he saw Borne Legacy and thought the scene where he shot it down with a rifle was possible.
With a rope Duhhhhhh.
yea thats nuts.
I mean, if I only need to send a small package across the county and don't have time that day to drive over there, why not have some sort of personal drone service? A lot of infrastructure will be needed of course, but I like the potential.
these are different did u click on the link they arent the air force drones. Of the one they are showing to be honest a shot or 2 from a shotgun in the right place may take it down.
sooooo much truth here... +1
it would be risky though if i was gonna send somehting it would be of something of little value. Until they became more reliable.
What now Commie Tyrant drones?
game. set. match.
Great thread. The comment of taking one down, with whatever method you choose, is especially laughable. It kind of shows how little some know of what they are trying to stop.
R u for cereal.
Somebody with a computer will take some of these down
