Delanie Walker's aunt and uncle were hit and burned to death by a drunk driver hours after the Superbowl.
People that get drunk and drive are the scum of the Earth.. Way to many stories of innocent people, children and many others killed by these irresponsible people that decide to get drunk and drive. I've had 3 friends die on 3 separate occasions by drunk drivers and this story makes me angry.
I know they're making the law stiff on this but it should be more stiff. If you get caught drunk driving, it should be automatic jail time and hefty fines.
Anyways, sorry about my rant but man I feel bad for Walker of the 49ers and the thousands of others affected by these irresponsible people.
San Francisco 49ers tight end Delanie Walker says that his aunt and uncle were killed in a fiery crash just hours after the Super Bowl.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I agree. And shamefully, I have drove under the influence before. I think many, if not all of us have at one point or another have had one too many and got behind the wheel. Once it was really bad and I got pulled over. I passed the sobriety test with flying colors and was SHOCKED I wasn't in jail. If I'm drinking now, I cut off two hours before driving and pound water. Only time lowers your BAC, so all the magic tricks don't work.
Not this is justifiable, but when I drink and then drive (couple beers, nothing major), I'm BEYOND paranoid and LOCK IN to my surroundings and what I'm doing. I'm always blown away by the ones where they fall asleep at the wheel, etc.... How do the bartenders let them go? Here in Jersey, the bar and the server/bartender can be held liable.
Honestly, I can understand an18 year o,d being young and stupid but this girl that killed his Aunt and Uncle is 26 and there's NO excuse when you're that age.. Most of us weRe young and stupid and might've drank and drove but once you're a little older, you have to grow up.
We have all driven drunk at one time. Don't lie. Now, its when we become more mature that we stop. Or hopefully do so.
I agree... gotta grow up. One of the great benefits here in Jersey and NYC is there's ALWAYS public transportation!!
Read post above
People drive drunk well into late age. I don't think age is a factor. Whether you drive drunk at 18, or 58. It happens. Certain people grow up, and certain people don't. One of my friends said it best. "There are those who have gotten a DUI. And there are those who are waiting to get a DUI" Now, some people don't learn from the first one. They usually never do.
