We aren't just committed to college football; we're early enrolling in it.
Where the madness isn't just in March.

Of course, and we don't know what is really going on
Im saying that if you are telling kids you are full cause of a verbal commit in March that doing so isn't very smart
That is all I meant
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Why make them pay a ton of money to visit if they can't commit anyways.
Cause you stay in their head and if you need a fall back later on you have the kid in your back pocket
LBs are the only ones who have been told not to visit because we only need one max, other positions haven't been told they can't visit, just can't commit.
I'd rather the coaches be honest to a kid upfront
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
You are being honest
You tell them we are very interested but we are waiting on this kid or whatever
And you still recruit them
Very simple concept guys
Except we aren't waiting on other kids, we're basically full except for a few prospects and if we miss out on them it doesn't really matter because we either already have kids that are committed or the position isn't a need.
I get it man, doesn't change what Im saying
Im not even saying Hoke did turn kids away, I have no idea if he did
Im just saying the tactic of turning kids away cause you assume you are full isn't smart, that is all I said
Don't take it so personally
If Hoke did this he made a minor mistake is all, its not that serious and from the sounds of it you feel your staff just doesn't make mistakes on the recruiting trail
Even Jimbo has done things that make me say WTF man ?
How's this to simplify: For Michigan LB recruiting at this point is Levenberry or bust.
Well as I said before, getting a LB commit is a luxury this year and we really don't need any so turning away LB prospects isn't a mistake.
Okay, so if you missed then LB would just be a pass this year ?
They aren't turning kids away. They explain to them the situation and the kid (and his family) can decide if they want to spend their own money on an unofficial visit to a school that currently does not have a place for him. As I said before, look for Michigan to host some of these kids in the fall for official visits when it is on their dime and not the kid's.
I'm pretty sure Hoke, Mattison, and the rest of the staff know how to recruit. This isn't their first rodeo.
All I did was answer to what fsufsu was talking about
Yeah I get it dude, I was just speaking in the hypothetical in regards to what fsufsu meant by his comment
Maize and Blue asked what he meant and I told him
They took 4 LB last year and wanted two this year (based on all info available). They have one in McCray and feel as good as they can about another in Gedeon. However, they would always take a super like Levenberry so there will be a spot for him. If they get him, great. If not, they will survive.
If we didn't get hit with an injury grenade on offense we'd have won 11 last year. Seriously.
Neither has accomplished much of anything yet but both programs are going to crescendo quickly.
Jimbo will win a NC before Hoke. Bank on it
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or it may last a year. But eventually, it will subside. If i quit, however it will last forever.
Lulz. Both of them have a loooong way to go.
How do you know ?
I think both could win one in the next few years with some breaks along the way
Absolutely, they are recruiting well enough to perhaps accomplish it.
But a statement like that is retarded, and is just a comment based on homerism.
Well at this point Michigan is creating a much more solid, better put together team right now with recruiting. Your lack of OL is concerning.
