...at least the Ravens still have Joe Flacco

Weird, didn't see that coming
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
just doesnt seem right. reed should have retired and just gone on to the hall of fame
FSU Ambassador to the masses
Probably just a lockerroom guy as much as anything. Who else do they have at safety?
?? you serious ??
He is still easily one of the best in the game, did you not watch the super bowl ?
Honestly, passively. I am not surprised I am wrong. He's one of the three best ever.
Shoulda went to the Saints
Ray Lewis was a locker room guy this past season.
Ed Reed still plays on a slightly higher level than that.
Do you actually watch football?
Reed makes big plays, but there are more consistent safeties in the league now a days.
Still can't believe Ravens let him go. Reed is one of my favorite players in the league, guy is a beast.
Which is why I said " one of the best " not the best
Damn...flacco should go fuk himself. Singlehandedly ruined his own defense
He will be injured alp season, enjoy
Steve Spurrier is a God, and Mark Richt worships him
Eh, if it wasn't this year it would've been next year. The Ravens front office knows what they're doing. They were due for a rebuilding year and honestly the best time to do that is right after a super bowl win. It will take the sting away from a couple down years while rebuilding with youth.
I love Ed and I would've liked to see him retire as a Raven, but it's business. The Ravens have 12 draft picks plus they now have some $ to get some veteran FA's. They'll get a decent vet safety in FA and draft a safety in the first 3 rounds. The Ravens offense is pretty set.
They need to get a WR. ILB and Safety are definitely the most important gets. If I were the Ravens I'd shoot for these players in the first four rounds. Whoever's available:
Rd 1- Matt Elam(S), Kevin Minter(ILB), Menelik Watson(OT), Alec Ogeltree(ILB), DJ Fluker(OT), Demonte Moore(DE), Margus Hunt(DE), Tavon Austin(WR), Tank Carradine(DE), Justin Hunter(WR), Sheldon Richardson(NT), Jesse Williams(NT)
Rd 2- DJ Swearinger(S), Jonathan Cyprien(S), Manti Teo(ILB), Eric Reid(S), Sheldon Richardson(NT), Jesse Williams(NT), Robert Woods(WR), Arthur Brown(OLB), Kyle Long(OT/OG)
Rd 3- DaRick Rogers(WR), Robert Woods(WR), Jon Bostic(ILB), Author Brown(OLB)
Rd 4- Kiko Alonso(ILB), Brenden Jenkins(DE), Terran Farmstead(OT), Jordan Mills(OT), Xavier Nixon(OT)
Do you ever wield anything but hyperbole? I don't watch but about 20 hours of NFL a year.
