Thread started well, but most threads that stick for more than a day turn bad.
Pretty funny actually to see FSU fans call Auburn sorry when their year wasn't any better and Auburn did have better wins. Plus, Auburn didn't lose to a single team that wouldn't have beaten FSU last year.
FSU would win if they played next year on nuetral ground, but it would be close, IMO. Auburn just needs Frazier to step up and hope some of the RS Fr like Frost step up on defense and they should be decently improved. Losing Dyer hurts, but he wasn't used properly much last year anyway so I don't think he will be missed terribly.
The only way we play is in a bowl game, and I do not see that happening unless jimbo gets outcoached the rest of his time and we miss a bcs bowl game.
Jimbo never gets outcoached, never!
Did I say he has never been outcoached, but this is his third year and some of those mistakes I am sure he has learned from.
That would be cool. FSU could run the Fumblerooskie again.

We only did that one time that I know of, and that was against clemson in 88.
I know Dyer was great, but it was an ego issue. I'd rather have team players than me, me, me guys.
Or he could not be that great a coach, only time will tell
BTW I feel the same could be said for Chizik
Both are proven recruiters, but jury is still out on consistent championship football
Yeah i agree with that
I think we clearly have a slight advantage in player talent but its close and coaching is close too but Auburn is breaking in new systems which would likely hurt against a team as talented as FSU
Would likely be a great game
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
This is one of the most retarded posts i have ever read in my life
you have no idea what O Leary is gonna become down the road and saying you know for sure what he will be is just comical
Different types of TE too, O Leary is more like a Shockey/Olsen type but should be better
We will see, but you clearly haven't seen Nick play much cause only a complete idiot would trash him like you for a guy that still hasn't broke 500 career yards in 3 years
I really like Lutz, dude is a beast but he isn't the athlete Nick is.... Its not even close in that regard
This post has been edited 2 times, most recently by NoVaNoles 2 years ago
Yeah its not too bad though
Didn't know that about Lutz
Good news for you guys, I knew he was a tough badass but damn
I thought i had heard he was NFL bound
Maybe, but did you see my post about him playing with a torn shoulder all year? That would explain the lack of catches, also we didn't have a fullback so Lutz had to be used more as a blocker. I see him really having a breakout year this year with a move to the pro set and we brought in an All American Fullback from Illinois.
I haven't seen much of O'Leary, but I can tell you that Lutz is a VERY good athlete and to say that O'leary is an out of this world athlete compared to Phillip is not correct. I played against Lutz in high school all four years and we played on the same 7 on 7 team for two years. It is not possible for anyone to have better hands than Lutz. He played FS in AAAAA Metro Atl. That's SEC against a lot of SEC caliber WR's and TE's.
O'leary may be faster and quicker, but Lutz is more of a Dallas Clark type player. He is considered a "tweener" by NFL guys. Both have very bright futures in the league.
Yeah i agree with all of that
Im just saying to homeboy who thinks im high that Nick is not a joke
Him saying he will never get 10 TD's and nonesense like that is what was retarded, not him thinking Lutz is a great player
Also maybe its not a large difference but Nick is certainly the better athlete
Ran it at AU. I forget the year. AU lineman fell on the ball. AU scored off the t/o and won.
Glad we can have an adult conversation in all of this flamefest.
You jump on me for comparing Lutz to Gronk
But you are jumping ship big time comparing O'Leary to Shockey
I'll agree I took it to fair on saying O'Leary won't get 10 but O'Leary has a LONG way to go before you compare him to Shockey
Lutz caught 7 tds this year in a year were he was primarily used as a blocker
TURDS ALL UP IN THIS MUG. /// "2010 Auburn Tigers, my favorite team. Unbeaten in all ways." -- Dan Wetzel, April 4, 2013, 6:29 p.m.
Saying he is a lil version of a guy Who just had the greatest statistical season for a TE in nfl history is retarded imo
Comparing Nick O Leary to somebody isn't the same thing
I didn't say he was as good as Shockey
I jumped on you cause calling him a lil Gronk is crazy
Giving an example of who i think Nick could be isn't that crazy
Everybody has seen that play
O'Leary would have 1 handed it then did a double front flip into the endzone
O'Leary would've intentionally fallen face first into some big d-tackle's crotchal region.
I didn't mean he was identical to Gronk, just saying he has some Gronk qualities.
O'Leary will not turn out to be as good as Shockey, Lutz will have a BCS championship ring, and a longer NFL career than O'Leary.
There you go predicting the future again
You predict the future and it is ok, but I'm not allowed to predict the future?
