The players at the school a coach leaves often are upset. So this isn't really out of the ordinary. Just the angry initial reaction

lol at arky state. Always talking smack to Arkansas. They said Malzahn was gonna build a dynasty there and make them the next Boise State.

Malzahn is a biotch
Hope he and Auburn fail miserably.
Does Mike Dyer go back to the Barn now?
What kind of guy did he think Gus was....his fault...
Coaches are all mercenaries.
It is BS.. If a recruit is committed to a coach and that coach leaves, that player should have every right to transfer with no penalties. These coaches get away with murder and give these kids their word, only to leave and leave that player screwed.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Maybe players should make the coaches sign a binding agreement before they sign..a letter.....
Maybe a recruit should go to a school for the school. After all, he is there to get a degree
or for $180K
you'll be aight....
no, you made a dumb statement.
I upvoted you on accident, so please slap yourself.
The thing is, I highly doubt Malzahn even recruited the kid. Just by pure statistics, he only recruited about 20-25% of the players on roster. Oh well, must suck to lose Freeze and Malzahn in back to back years. Maybe they'll get another good one.
Huddles are for rookies.

Not in the real world. Most go for a coach to get paid in the NFL and couldn't give a crap about education. Sad but that's how it is.. Do you see what half these players Major in? Lol it's a joke

I don't really mean that, but Malzahn pulled a dick move
I'm betting that if that kid had options, he wouldn't be at Arky State either.
I accidently downvoted you trying to hit the quote button. Sorry about that.
Anyways, what coach wouldn't leave for a huge promotion? Malzahn would be a dick to his self and his family if he didn't take the AU job.
Gus jumps around like his azz is on fire...the kid should have been aware....its arky st..how long did he think gus was gonna stay at podunk u when hesbeen to the top of big boy football?
The slap hurt but I knew you were serious so I added extrea umph.
He'd still be making good money without the Auburn job.
I see why he and other coaches do it, but he wasn't even their a full year. It is what it is though.
under a mil to 2.3, just a small raise
