Deaderick was punished, link below. Now STFU and move along.
Really interesting stuff last night from Brandon Deaderick. The sophomore defensive end will be filling in for Bobby Greenwood on the line while Greenwood recovers from a sprained ankle. We hadn't talked to him since his arrest this summer, so of course I had to ask about the fallout. Deaderick was pretty mature about it, saying he learned a lot. This was the lead in my college beats stuff today, but since it's not online yet, here is what went on: First, Deaderick insists, Deaderick received three charges: Giving a false name to police, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief. According to Tuscaloosa Police spokesman Capt. Greg Kosloff, Deaderick cracked the window inside the patrol car with his head. The 19-year old has applied for youthful offender status, which, if granted, makes his record closed. So, because we're always wondering about discipline,...

I can provide links showing all those players were arrested. If I do, are you going to find links showing they were suspended or kicked off the team? Of course, I dont know where you are going to get those links from since they dont exist.
Just google Alabama football players arrested. The names I mentioned should be in those links somewhere
They weren't kicked off the team, but all were punished.
Are you kidding? He was arrested for 3 crimes: disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and giving a false name. He was not suspended for 1 game or even 1 play. His only punishment was working in a Tuscaloser nursing home, which I already knew about by the way.
I find it comical that a bammer would even bring that up, because I personally find that punishment to be pretty much of a joke. However, it does fall right in line with shorty saban's MO on discilpline. He had a player at LSU arrested for beating up a woman. That player was never suspended for 1 game or 1 play either. His only punishment was going on patrol with the Baton Rouge police department, which is also a joke

Sorry Bama players aren't out robbing drug dealers or suspended for death threats. Move along now.
There's not going to be a pocket
You and Lou Holtz should get together and chat. Pure. Unadulterated. Stupidity.
That would be a huge advantage for us. Denard has a knack for escaping the rush.

I don't think there is a good way to cover Denard other than to have a QB spy.
To all the haters saying "Well Hoke should have suspended them weeks ago". What obligation does a coach have to inform the media of in-house decisions? It shows you have no leg to stand on. It's a pathetic argument. I don't even buy the gamesmanship angle as much. It was a full "Frigg off media/ESPN! You'll know when ya know..."
Check out my 2 deep of UM's base 4-3 under defense, let me know your thoughts. Last updated: 3/28/12
Agree, the best was releasing the depth chart with Fitz at the top. Hoke played everyone all summer. Well done. I ultimately love when the media gets it shoved up their ass. For us, it's not our business, but for the smug media who knows it all and says what you should do and why you should do it, I love keeping them off balance.
Go Blue. Roll the Tide!!!
