Note to the SEC, get a tougher schedule, the non-con games late make it soft
DeLoss Dodds on chance Texas plays Texas A&M: 'We get to decide when we play again'
By Christian Corona Posted on March 18, 2013 at 1:38 pm
"It's hard to get out of it," Dodds said of the Big 12's round-robin schedule. "But if you get out of it, you're straight into the national championship. If you can go straight through our conference, it's a direct line to the national championship. In the SEC, Alabama hadn't play Georgia for four years. So there's maybe some advantages to it. They play some nonconference games late in the season that soften their schedule. The Big 12 is a tougher road to get there than the SEC because of their scheduling abilities."
**I'll cleaned it up for easier reading....no one cares about the UT/A&M rivalry and other stuff that was in there.

Texas admins seem like whiners. Just my opinion.
Think it's obvious that Texas is scared to play them...

I guess when you can't beat them, cry about the schedule.
Without self-knowledge there is no individuality
I miss th Texas -A&M and Nebraska-OU games. Wasn't so long ago OU-Nebraska winner went to championship game.
This is the downside to all this realignment. It started when UT had to push for the expansion to 12 from 8. The writing was on the wall from that point on really. Set a precident that tradition was second to money and that UT was going to try to throw its weight around. Eventually, N got sick of it and rolled out.
