It'll be interesting to watch the transfers involving strikers with the three London clubs. Remy is all but gone from QPR with the result today pretty much guaranteeing relegation.
I need to stop watching European soccer all morning and then transitioning to MLS in the late afternoon. The level of play is just so much worse.
Alright, simple question: When does Neymar move and where to? GO!
I say: December 2013 and Barcelona
Anyone watching the Manchester Derby?
I'll take him for his word for now, I think he's at Barca meer hours after the WC ends
Definitely reasonable. Fwiw he has really softened on that stance it seems lately. I think if he plays this whole year May to December in Brazil and then goes to Barca and trains with them for 7 months leading up to the WC Barca can afford to give him the days off needed while also providing him an invaluable training opportunity
But yeah, your prediction is maybe still the most likely all told.
I'll go with this too. It doesn't seem like he's in a big hurry to leave Brazil.
I think he's obviously dealing with a lot of dissonance and confusion given how many heroes of his have told him he's making a new mistake each day he stays but he couldn't possibly get more endorsements elsewhere and salary wise is just beneath what Barca would provide. He still has his little boy who is barely old enough for a move in reality as well.
Got home at halftime, so I chose to watch Malaga. Man has Gala at least tried to make this competitive. Switched the channel from Malaga because I'm just hoping they can hold on. Took the moneyline at +800. They were gifted that second goal being offsides and all.

Anyone think Arsenal has a realistic chance to finish in top 4? I know they're right on the cusp but I'm nervous they won't.
If I remember correctly, they have the easiest schedule remaining. I actually think Chelsea and Everton are the two on the outside looking in. I know Tottenham has the injury issues and a poorer run of form right now, but Chelsea still has several competitions they're in play for and Everton just doesn't have the depth to make a real push at then end. I can't really see Liverpool getting into it in any way either.
Dortmund game was insane.
Ending is on right now on FSC for those that missed it.
Bayern and Barca advance. Messi please get healthy.
Absolutely no reason for him to play again basically until the Semis.
The final will be awesome whoever ends up winning each matchup. Would love to see a Barca/Real final though, would be absolutely epic.
This will be a great game! Obviously pulling for Barca, but Bayern scares me big time.
Rather see a German final myself. Good to see four strong sides left though.
Manchester United have made the huge steps in the race to land Radamel Falcao in the summer according to Marca.
The 27 year old is one of the hottest properties in world football with Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid all chasing his signature.
However Marca says United are now in pole position to land him as reports in the Spanish newspaper say "a down payment has reportedly been made" and that Falcao is "just a step away from United".
Marca add that the sequence of events is nothing new because "the same thing happened two seasons ago when David de Gea left the Vicente Calderón to become a Red Devil".
De Gea moved to Old Trafford for around £17m (€20m) while Falcao is expected to cost United around £42m (€50m).
Falcao has scored 22 goals in La Liga this season and sits third behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in the scoring charts.
Can't see it happening with United having Rooney, RVP and Chicharito upfront already, but damn would that be a scary attack. Chicharito would probably be sold if they got Falcao, but an attack of RVP, Rooney and Falcao would not be fair.

I'd rather see him there than at Madrid.
Falcao is a baller
Being a United fan, I'd love to have Falcao, but I'm very skeptical. I don't see Sir Alex pretty much making Rooney the 3rd striker. I guess Rooney could move into midfield, its been talked about for the past year or two and I think he has that ability.
Not counting Ronaldo and Messi as strikers, he's the best in the world at the moment in my opinion.
