Might get one today, it's a great Black Friday deal.
Good idea, or should I get something else? (iPhone 5 is out of the question, I'm a droid fanboy all the way.)
Wise man. I would say as of right now, the S3 and Note 2 are the best phones on the market. The HTC DNA getting ready to released looks awesome, but I fully expect it to have battery life issues. Here is a short video comparing the two. I have the Note(not Note 2), and if you think size is a problem, I recommend going to the store and checking it out for yourself. Fits comfortably in your pocket.

I'm a computer/video game/tech kid. I'm pretty good with this stuff.
Thanks, the Note 2 definitely seems awesome. But I think I might stick with getting the S3 just because it's the better deal (only $50) and because it's smaller. (I believe you when you say size isn't a problem with the Note, but it's just my personal preference that a phone be as small as possible)
