Hey Ratt I deleted that post because of it mentioning stuff in season 3.
I don't want to spoil it for anyone.
Fair enough. I thought I left it as vague as I could but no big deal.
Yeah but you mentioned it by name. Some might be able to discern more than they want from that.
We do have a book thread though where we can talk about spoiler type stuff.
Ghost is awesome.
Jon Snow is my favorite character. Him and Ghost are beasts.
All the direwolfs are awesome. You really got the scale of just how big they were in this episode.
I've ony read the first two and I agree he is up there. Tyrion is a really good character right now too.
so y'all recommend picking up the book?
Yeah, I've read the first two books and was wondering if they were going to make that right in the show.
Still furious about Sansa's wolf getting killed.
Nimeria is a beast as well.
Hell like you said they are all beasts.
He remains my favorite through the first four that I have read. I love Jon Snow and Jamie Lannister as well (no homo of course).
Books are 1000x better than the show.
I did and love them so far.
Yep Tyrion, Jamie, and Jon are my favorites.
I would recommend picking up the entire series.
a buddy of mine said the books were kind of hard to follow, any truth to that?
I don't think so.
Each chapter in the book follows a certain character and it kind of jumps around. That could be what he is referring to but I never had trouble keeping up.
Just realized the thread title looks like the spam threads.
I didn't really pay attention to Orange's comment earlier.
Anybody else curious to see how HBO deals with the scope of the dragons once they grow up? They did the direwolves justice but it's going to be tough when it comes to the dragons. Their heads are supposed to be as big as a giant bus.
Like Aussie says it's not that tough. There are several characters that narrate but it's not tough to get the jist of what is going on. There are a TON of interwoven storylines but it's not bad.

My comment was directed at the spammer that put links in the thread. Trick was trying to be slick. Someone got him after I pointed it out and I didn't quote because I didn't want the links to still be here...
Doubt they'll actually do that, camera work will be too tough,
Maybe if you aren't used to reading books without pictures. Might take a 100 pages or so to get into a groove and start remembering who everyone is but what book doesn't?
They don't have a choice if they want to follow the books. The dragons have a couple of important scenes as grown ups and I haven't read the fifth book yet.
Yes... You should be fine unless you got some extreme form of ADHD...
