Hope so. I know they don't want to add too many new people per season so it makes sense. At least he's not just another knight, a fat brown guy with stomach scars would be memorable.
I just wanted to vent really quick... I preordered book 5 in paperback on amazon in June of 2012. I was supposed to have it in august 2012. The august date got pushed back to may of 2013, which just got pushed back to March of 2014. WTF...
You can create a Nook account and buy it cheaper than a paper or hard back and read it on the online Barnes and noble website fwiw
This doesnt make sense. Book 5 has been out forever, and I just ordered a copy from Amazon 3 months ago.
Are you talking about Book 6 (The Winds of Winter)?...cuz if you are, that is terribly awful news. I have been waiting forever on this crap, and its becoming increasingly evident that GRRM is going to die of fatness before he finishes this thing.
Nope, dance with dragons. I ordered it in paperback because that is what all my other books are. If I went with hardback, I'd have it already.

Thats one of the great things about her character...she's still young, and you never know which Dany will show up.
Ahhhhh. I see what you're saying. That's still pretty ridiculous. You have every right to vent, then
Hell, You may get book 6 before book 5 is available at this rate.
This wait suuuuuuucks. My own fault for reading them all in a years time I guess...
Yeah I know.
I actually starting reading these things in middle school, and book 4 came out soon after. Then 6 years to wait for book 5.

Prime example, hahaha. Freaking Daario, man.
Now I feel like a bitch for complaining. You're a better man than I, haha
Yep. Good find. Dany is an unpredictable little hoe fo show.
WTF. You got screwed over. I just walked into B&N and bought a copy.
In paperback? Or hardcover?
paperback. I got all 5 in a set, so the cover might not be like the one you pre-ordered.
Barnes and Noble here I come...
I honestly can't remember anything from the books. I read all of them within a 9 month span. Since then I've read tons of other books. Sure it will all come back once the show hits.
Just kidding. I lied. It was a 4 book set.
Sorry about the confusion. I stopped reading the actual books because I get them all on e-book as a gift. I just assumed the box set that I originally got had all 5 books.
Just finished A Feat for Crows. It was decent, but not nearly as good as A Storm of Swords.
I'm about halfway through FOC right now. Trying to muscle through to get to book five.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
FOC is by far the worst of the five.
Yep. "Muscle through" describes my reading experience perfectly. It was worse than a Tough Mudder.
Reading it is an exercise in character building.
I honestly remember very little about it anymore.
Is Dwd similar? Hopefully the story of Jon Snow, Dany and Stannis has better pacing.
I'm not sure if I like how he chose to split the book.
ADWD is a ton better than AFFC. You actually get to follow the storylines of the characters you like and do cool shit - Dany, Jon Snow, etc. All you get in AFFC is Brienne's storyline and a bunch of new characters which are a prep for more of the story to come.
