Also name some South vs North match ups you would like to see and where.
Auburn vs Notre Dame @ Soldier Field or do a H&H
nope. bc i'm not an LSU fan so I wouldn't read that.
anyway you'll have to excuse our douche canoe friend
LSU even knows their is a far north part of the country? When was the last time they played a game so far north?
it will be a sept game so it won't matter
I don't understand why they schedule these games in NFL stadiums when both teams' home fields hold more people.
Because outside of Alabama coming north to PSU when was the last time a highly ranked southern team came north to play a home and home? NFL stadiums mean money and exposure.
Played in Washington few years back. Also West Virginia would be the most recent Northern (sarcasm) trip we made.
Does B1G country classify as the only Northern teams? There have been several SEC vs PAC home and homes recently.
Also, when was the last time a B1G team played a home and home with a southern team? It goes both ways.
Would hate for it to be at lambeau. Ticket prices would be too high and would much rather see this as a home and home. College stadiums amongst the top teams are so much better than nfl stadiums.
Why Soldier Field though?
Why not Notre Dame stadium and Jordan Hare?
doesnt matter since the game will be early in the year.
Have that game in November and then we can discus
At Washington 2-3 years ago
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I'd like some more Bama-PSU matchups, personally.
If not them then Texas, because they're the most entertaining team to beat.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Trust me PSU doesn't want anything to do with Bama right now
Haha, I watched them beat PSU in State College last season.
Its a good series though, and once our sanctions are lifted and we're back to full force I'd love to see us go toe to toe with them again.
I'd love to play them. We'd get smoked, but it's still much better than playing another crappy MAC team. Love to play pretty much anyone outside of our region to be honest. Would love a good PAC/SEC/ACC south of Virginia series.
I would love to establish a rivalry with Penn State once your sanctions are over. I would love for Bama to adopt one out of conference rival and one rotating game every season in our out of conference schedule.
It's Lambeau field man.
I'd love to see tOSU schedule teams like Florida, FSU, LSU etc.
Too much pussy-footing around going on in college football in general lately when it comes to scheduling. A large part of that is due to there being no play-off so to even sniff a NC game most teams have to go undefeated, but the fact is many times the best team in the country loses a game. That's just how football goes. Besides, everyone enjoys the big out of conference match-ups - fans, players, media...
Idk. We could do a home and home.
I just thought the trend was NFL stadiums.
I want some home-and-homes with Florida teams, but they rarely leave the state for OOC.
So there is less exposure playing in the Big House, Shoe, Beaver Stadium? Stadiums that are far more well known....at least to College Fans? Okie dokie. Secondly how would playing in a stadium that seats 70k be more $$$ than 100k+? Without having to rent the Pro Stadium even...

I've seen a college game in Jerryworld, very many in Gaylord Memorial, every home game since I've been a student at Beaver Stadium.
The experience is so much better at a college venue, it isn't really comparable. The tailgating, the atmosphere around the stadium, even the fan-to-fan interactions are different.
If we could get something locked up with a team like Tennessee, Bama, UGA, etc. for some home and homes I'd be ecstatic. Great programs should play great programs, that's what made CFB so great in the first place. PSU-Bama is a lot more compelling than Penn State-Kent State or Bama-Georgia Southern.
We've played at least 1 really good OOC game the past decade.. Bama and UGA have played some decent OOC games too.
Ticket prices are 2 and 3 times as much for the games ans sponsors and TV networks throw in a huge chunk of money at the teams as well.
Teams make more going to play these games than they do for home games.
