6'9 forward who can shoot 3's and midrange jumpers, can also rebound a bit coming off the bench for less than $1.5mil sounds pretty good though.
Hey Trojans, LSU's 74 are better than your 75.
Its funny how bad Lakers fans are. I mean Heat fans are bandwagons, but the majority of you Laker fans suck ass (excluding CRGator).
You guys got wiped 4-1 in the 2nd round to a team who lost 4-1 in the Finals. Lakers weren't even in the same ballpark as the elite teams last year. It remains to be seen whether an old Nash and a injured Howard will even get you to the Finals let alone win it.
Do the Lakers have a requirment every player must be good 10 years ago to play for them now? Worst defensive team I've seen in a while other than Howard.
Nash guarding Westbrook? Lulz. Kobe on Wade? Lulz. Artest or Jamison on Lebron or Durant? Triple lulz.
The perimeter defense from the Lakers is going to be embarrassing. And Howard isn't going to completely erase that. Lakers are a much better team, but suggesting they are favorites is a Lakerish thing to do. Durant and Lebron are still going to be the best players on the floor by a fair margin whenever they play the Lakers.
This. Jamison might as well be a non factor
I hear what y'all are saying about Jamison, but he still averaged 17 pts last yr.
On the other hand he shot 40%, the lowest in his career.
^^^^ Hella lot of truth
Anyone know if the surgeon that did Howard's back surgery was that same guy that did LJ's?

BTW it's good to know that Laker fans feel the need to troll the Heatles thread whenever something good happens for them. Tells me who everyone tries to live up to these days; LeBron.
Feels good man.
We just got better on offense and defense Hskr4life23.For as good as Bynum is,he's no D12.He's pretty slow and lazy also.
Well he scored 18 ppg last year so I think he'll be ok.
Did you miss the Masked Mamba destroying Wade last year?Do I need to post the video for you so we can both LOL?

Kobe is still an elite defender and don't forget that Artest is still on the team.. Our defense will be much improved with Howard. Moreover, we couldn't put it together in the last couple of minutes vs OKC in several games and could have been up 3-1 instead of the other way around. Nash isn't going to be asked to score much and will facilitate the offense better than Sessons or blake could. Having the best Center in the league added to your team is huge. Lakers are a top 3 team now with the off season additions.
You mean the game where Wade fouled out in the most ridiculous fashion ever? Wade had 16 in 30 minutes with a bum knee and foul trouble. Hardly call that dominated.
Also Kobe is only getting older, and Wade averages 24 PPG against the Lakers lifetime so I'm still lulzing real hard.
Lakers perimeter defense is still god awful whether the homer in you will allow you to admit it or not.
Nash, Kobe, Artest/Jamison is hands down one of the defensive perimeter defensive units around. And rim protectors can only do so much to hide that, just ask KD how much Ibaka blocking shots helped him avoid getting torched all finals long.
Damn your boi won the title and you still on this diatribe

Kobe is not an elite defender anymore, he simply can't cover other teams best players for a whole game. And I didn't forget Ron Artest, apparently I did forget it was 2008 again though, when Ron Artest was actually good. The guy is strong and that's it. Anyone with speed will walk around Ron Ron.
And the Lakers were down 3-1 to OKC because Kobe choked down the stretch taking retarded fade away shots like he always does, or turning the ball over. Had nothing to do with Sessions although that's a nice cop out.
Lakers improved and are definitely a contender, but I'll wait before annointing them anything. I've seen OKC and the Heat be a much better team than the Lakers. And saying that adding a 38 year old PG with a bad back who can't play defense at all, and a great center with back issues automatically makes you guys better than every other team not named OKC or Miami is a stretch.
The Lakers are old as balls, and other than Howard not very athletic. Two things that don't bode well for them beating OKC and Miami.
Name me a team who is better than the Lakers, other than the Heat and OKC? Bulls? Rose will be out for half of the season.
Cracks me up....the Lakers are absolutely 0 threat to the NBA title yet Laker haters are spending post after post trying to convince us that we aren't what they already know....allegedly...
Squirm haters....you know it's coming!!!
I actually said in everyone of my posts the Lakers were a contender. They are by no means THE favorite though.
I'm not that worried though, and it's going to extra sweet wiping those Lakers off the floor if they even make the dance.
I hated the Lakers enough already but adding the biggest loser in the league Howard, and the biggest sell out in the league Nash made it even worse.
The Bulls suck with or without Rose. One elite player will win you regular season games that is it. Bulls have no chance at ever winning chit unless they pick up another great player. Average players like Noah, Deng, etc aren't getting past a good team in the playoffs.
Spurs and Celtics were better last year than the Lakers. Depending on which teams age the fastest will determine who is better.
Your boi did a Howard wit a side order of Nash..but he's cool huh? Gonna be a fun year...can't wait to hoist #17...
Agree with the Bulls comment, their front office dug their own grave my choosing to do nothing. They are a middle of the pack team now, likely will lose in the first round of the playoffs.
I know nothing about Basketball but I find this funny.
Comparing LBJ's and Howard's situation is funny. One just left. The other just told us 1000000 different things, changed his mind every day, and just generally is a huge loser.
And a side order of Nash? I wasn't aware LeBron was chirping the Heat and Wade on twitter less than month before he signed with them.
Curious as to how one becomes a Lakers fan and a Reds fan?
Been a Laker fan because I followed Magic Johnson and he was my favorite player as a kid...so wherever he went was gonna be my team. love the Reds ...and am a Browns fan..hate the Bengals!
It was all drama and senseless rhetoric...whether he was tweaking the heat or not has nothing to do with him stringing thenCavs along for over a year..giving them hope and then televising it and slapping them in the mouth...it's alright mrider...I know you gonna see it like you need to..after all he is your boi...
I need to start following my favourite players teams in hope of enjoying a couple of championships, I haven't witnessed a title from any of "my teams" in my lifetime.
