Without self-knowledge there is no individuality
I remember in 2005 that ESPN proclaimed that USC team as the greatest team ever and kept repeating it over and over just prior to that Rose Bowl game against Texas.
I think that ESPN is like SEC fans who think that their Bama and LSU teams can't be touched by anyone. History shows us that college football is cyclical: from conference dominance to rivalries to coaching tenures. It is always appalling how college football fans get this selective amnesia when they want to promote their own team/conference's "dominance".
Do you also remember that USC's D was decimated by injuries and started a walk on in the secondary in that game?
Do you also remember that the game was won by a great team with an all time QB in the last seconds?
That was a great USC team that hadn't lost a game in almost three seasons. They got beat by a team that was better that day, and not by much.
Looks like another perfect day.
Selective amnesia IMO
it's true. although espn may have been proclaiming usc's greatness, usc's D was not as good as in 2004, although i can't recall precisely the injury situation, specifically re: LB's. but i do know for a fact that usc's secondary was completely decimated by the end of the Texas game and usc was playing some of the most embarrassing secondary players i have ever seen. i was at the game and thinking about how vince young was shedding these little pukes like they were flies on his thighs.
usc's offense on the other hand, well they put up 39 in the NC game.
either way can't wait for the season. i respect all of the teams in the nation and may the best team com out on top.
peter tosh says "fight on" for USC
fight on my brothers! great tune, I've added some organ stuff in the beginning..

Thank you for proving my point.
It was not a slight on USC in any way. It was directed towards ESPN's proclamation that no one could beat USC that year (or ever), and that SEC fans who seem to think the same way.
But, your post only confirms my point. Thanks.
I think you are wrong!
Probae esti in segetem sunt deteriorem datae fruges, tamen ipsae suaptae enitent
LMAO, are you really bring FSU in this?
I Believe Auburn and Love IT...4 Life!
You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
i think 1 of them has a lost before Nov 3, and its neither LSU or Bama
FSU really, we saw what they did last year with lofty expectations..LSU would dominate them on both lines, and thats where the battle is won. Plain and simple
da Gus Bus
QB - AJ McCarron
RB - Eddie Lacy, TJ Yeldon, Dee Hart, Jalston Fowler
TE - Micheal Williams
OL - best in the nation
WR - Kevin Norwood, Chistion Jones, Kenny Bell, DeAndrew White, Amari Cooper
My god at the delusion lol
i'll give you the OL. time will tell how the Bama O performs w/o trent Richardson
We shall see.....
I numbered your items because I though it would make for easier reference.
1) You are an Auburn fan. Enough said.
2) LSU would beat our OL. LSU's defense has one of the best DLs in CFB and FSU's weakness appears to be their OL. Conversely, LSU's OL might not fair well against FSU's DL (which is also one of the best in CFB). So, it appears that special teams would be where this game could be won. In that case, I could see LSU winning with that badger kid.
Yeah i am. the question was who could stand up to LSU or Alabama. i stated we could, the talent is there, we can match up athletes with them. i dont really see what is so funny. what do expectations have to do with it? we know auburn cant go toe to toe with them. you couldnt go toe to toe with us. we do a home and home and i guarantee we beat you and auburn buys out of the series.........again
no auburn fan can EVER talk shit to an FSU fan with a straight face. you bought out of a series, thats the weakest move you can make

FSU Ambassador to the masses
Barkley knows who McCarron is. AJ has what he wants....A ring! Oh...and AJ also mixed in an MVP of the Title game. Not a bad resume for a 1 yr starter. Just sayin'. And I'll save you from typing your next response..."We'll see who's better in the pro's....". And here's my reply...I don't give a shit about the pro's...we're talking about college. So now we can move past that next post and move to the next one. I'll hang up and listen.

QB - AJ McCarron - NC MVP
Kevin Norwood - ummmm you must not have watched the NC game. You will know Amari Cooper and Christion Jones by seasons end.
Stop us from running the ball first though
Work on your mind reading skills.
AJ McCarron would be ahead John Manoogian on USC's roster and that is a fact.

i agree with you. see you in miami. i've got my hotel booked. wyndham $200/night on the cheap. none of that $600/night W snazzy bullshit for me
That game put me to sleep. Based on the ratings...no one outside of Tuscaloosa and Red Stick tuned into that yawn fest.
We don't care.
