Still no qb?
No way u guys suck again, right?
If so, is Mack on the hotseat?
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
If they crap the bed again this year, they might force retirement. & they should no one has that level of talent in the country. On paper atleast.
Their spring game was on the longhorn network so I'm not sure anyone has seen them play
Supposedly Ash is making strides, but I will wait until we play Wyoming to judge that. That being said, unless Ash just totally sh*ts the bed, we will be vastly improved. Our O-line and WR's are looking better and our Defense/RB's should be solid again. With the addition of Gray alone we are a better football team. If Ash is a competent to above average QB this year, we will finish 1 or 2 in the Big 12.
I'd say 9 or 10 wins. Defense will be best in Big XII (I know it's an offensive league) and offense will be top 5.
Wyoming as a measuring stick? My how the mighty have fallen. Of course being an FSU fan, I should be one to talk (cough, Wake).
FSU Football. Making cool the new swag since 2013.
It's our first game. I'm just saying, I will wait to see him in action.
Ironically, Wake is FSU's first real game of the year. And it is sad that we consider Wake to be a real game.
I feel ya man. Last two years have been pretty rough (Baylor...). Hopefully it will just make the next few years that much sweeter.
What teams does Texas need to watch out for besides the Oklahoma schools? Anyone OOC?
Tx never plays a tough ooc game
West Virginia. That's about it. I really think Texas wins 10 games this year.
That's not nice. Although I did just see their upcoming schedule now that I'm not on mobile. Nothing to really worry about OOC. Not that I can talk with my schools cupcake schedule OOC.
That still seems weird that WVU is now in the Big XII. At least it's a home game.
Yeah I'm not flaming TX but them and UF never have a tough ooc game
We get a home and home with Texas in 2017 and 2018.
I wonder who will be Texas's final game of the season year in, year out. Or will it just alternate between teams.
True, we haven't in a while, but have started ramping them up recently. I believe we start a 4 game series, over 6 years, with Notre Dame in 2014, and we play USC in 2016 and 2017. Also, its not our fault Ole Miss sucks.
Toughest ooc game was tOSU 6 or7 years ago. there hasnt been a tough one in a while. UCF caught us off guard a couple years ago but thats about it. I dont like our vanilla ooc schedule because its usually only two weeks after ooc games OU comes rolling around and we arent prepared for it.
XoGisele, Ashley Sky, Niki Skyler
Ole Miss was supposed to be a decent one but they got back to sucking pretty quickly
And we'll have a top 10, possibly top 5, defense in the country. It's almost all a matter of whether Ash can put it together and if we can get some consistent O-Line play. Anything less than a Cotton Bowl berth is a failure in my eyes

Yeah, that's the last one that comes to mind. I wouldn't consider UCLA a cupcake either. They are awful in conference, but play relatively (perhaps even surprisingly) decent OOC. They are a respectable OOC opponent imo.
TDay is gonna be TCU and I think WVU alternating year in year out but it will always be here in Austin I believe. This year we had a second idle week in the season so we could finish in December like conferences with 12 teams do. I expect it to continue to be like that. Baylor may stay as the last game but im not sure on that.
Yeah when we scheduled UCLA they were on the verge of becoming decent again. Just how everything feLl into place. We lost to them two years ago but im not sure if that says anything.
Our ooc is not good this year.
We do play Washington though
Play FSU every year hombre.
Also I have seen Texas play Ohio State and Arky in OOC.
Unfortunately UCLA screws up their big wins with either terrible conference play or losing to scrubs on their OOC schedule, so it embarrasses teams like Texas or Tennessee when they lose to them. Honestly, there's no reason they should have finished lower than 4th in the Pac-10/12 every year with their talent. Dorrell and Neuheisel would find ways to lose though.
