On our site yesterday someone brought up the fact that you had not been around in a while? That's all. I'm not stalking you. We only get IrishImpact and his up coming around these days.
Who knows who all will live up to the hype when all is said and done. I can tell you we are comfortable with where we had him ranked and there aren't many that know football (college coaches, scouts, etc.) that believe he was anything but the top prospect in that class, much less defensive lineman.
I think Jarvis Jones is the best defensive player in college football this year, FWIW. UAB coach Garrick McGee said it could be Clowney, but I don't agree at this point, I think it's Jones.

We are all laughing at you for being butt hurt. You will find out soon enough AGAIN why Clowney is the best in college football.
You are a typical leghumper.
You're trying too hard to be ignorant.
Yeah...but you have that huge ND bias in all your threads
What do you expect from a leghumper?
Tell clown to watch the real pass rusher at UGA
Steve Spurrier is a God, and Mark Richt worships him
ok junior..My ND bias called for us to win 7 games 8 at best. I upset my HB all the time because I don't fall in line. Face it UM sucks and ND will show that to everyone Saturday night. UM will look like a practice squad team for the second time this year, that sound better SC? I am looking forward to seeing you call for Denard to get pulled midway through the second quarter, just like last year...
About damn time. I missed this Star
I assume you're referring to Jones, and yes, he's a fantastic player. He'll be the best defender we'll face all year and I'll be glad when he's gone. But, when it's all said and done he'll not be drafted as highly as Clowney will after next season. And, UGA doesn't have a DL in Clowney's league, or Devin Taylor for that matter.
South Carolina Gamecocks. The 2010 National College Baseball Champs.
To be fair, UGA does a play a 3-4. Still don't think it would matter in this discussion but DL in a 3-4 don't usually get a ton of pub outside of the NG. Clowney would be a LB in a 3-4 most likely playing the same role as Jones. Who would you take in that scenario? I know the homer picks for both but what about those with objectiveness.
That's true. And, I'm always objective. Short term, I'd probably take Jones considering how well he's playing right now. I can't think of any other defender that I'd say that about in reference to Clowney. But, Clowney's been very disruptive this year too. And, with another year under his belt (he's a soph, Jones is at least a Jr.) I'll guess he'll be at least as good as Jones. I don't know who will be a better player in the League, but Clowney's upside is as good as anyone playing football at any level.
Where was that real pass rusher last year against us? I will be waiting on that answer. Your boy Aaron Murray is still having nightmares of JC.
All you have to do is ask.. Sounds like you guys over on the Michigan board are having withdrawals I'll try to stop in a little later..
Yeah, check PM
