I don't remember ever seeing so much butthurt from fans that had no shot at a kid and say they "don't" want him anyways.
Thanks for the entertainment.
FSU, Miami and UF all said this kid won't be a RB
You really think Gran would take Henry over Green and Collins with Yearby and potentially Michel being the targets next year ?
Henry would never play RB at FSU, if you think otherwise you aren't being honest cause he won't survive Bama's stable either
I know you are smarter than that
Not every high ranked kid fits into each program each year
FSU would never take Henry at RB and there is no need too, we are stacking way better RB's left and right
True RB's, not wannabeez

The people trying to compare Henry to Wilder do know Henry has at least three to four inches on Wilder
And Wilder dominated both sides of the ball against much tougher competition
I would take all the RB's FSU has signed recently over Henry
Freeman, Wilder, Green, Yearby, Pender, Thompson
All of em
OMG Derrick Henry looks reallly good playing against kids who are around 5'8 hahahahaha.
The hurt is strong in this one. You can feel the pain jumping off the screen as you read this.
Henry>>>>>wilders weak ass
How many recruits and HS coaches have to say the Saban is one of the few coaches that do not sugar coat or promise anything to the kids. Henry will start at RB and likely end up with a role similar to what Jalston Fowler had this year prior to injury (RB, FB, HB and TE). This would allow him to be on the field more and the kid is a player. Him and Tenpenny/Yeldon/Drake/... on the field at the same time is scary with the way CNS stockpiles talent in the trenches.
So why do you even waste your time bitching about him?
So i can watch Bama fans cry about how they are certain he will be the starter
Henry is the most over-rated recruit out of florida i have ever seen
I have to troll him, i trolled him when UGA had him too
Also kids that switch their commits for no good reason almost always bust
Lolz at not mentioning Jones and thinking there are enough carries to keep 5 dudes happy
Ignorant post is gay
If he's dead set on being a RB for us then nothing is certain as far as him starting. You earn that spot at Bama. If anyone thinks that he is a dead set full time player for us at RB, especially a starter then they are fooling themselves.
You sir, must be a liberal b/c you resort to name calling vice logic. I was using an example with the few that popped into my mind. EL was a high 4* that many thought should have been a 5* if not for the slim chance he had of qualifying and he sat and got very few carries his first 2 years and averaged 7.3 touches per game his 3rd year on campus (he was a stud HS recruit that was patient - see TR behind MI as well, but TR got more touches). You want the full list then here goes
EL - may or may not be back for '13
TJ Yeldon - True Soph in '13 (barring injury, he is a 3 and done guy. He ran straight up in HS and seems to have improved his lean a lot since being in Tuscaloosa)
J Fowler - likely be a MedRS Junior in '13 (this is the hybrid position that Henry will fill)
Dee Hart - RS Soph in '13
K Drake - Soph in '13 (If EL leaves, this guy and Dee will battle for the #2 primary RB - JF will still be the hybrid)
Tenpenny - Fr in '13 (complete back)
Tyren Jones - Fr in '13 (complete compact back)
D Henry - Fr in '13 (I see him filling the JF hybrid role, only a bit bigger and faster)
Of those on the depth chart, only J Fowler has a similar skill set and he is a MedRS Junior coming off a knee injury. If JF can't go, then there is a good chance the DH could get 5 touches a game as a True Freshman (if he can block). It doesn't really matter, backs that go to Bama know that the best guy will play, regardless of class. They know that the RBs will ge fed a lot of carries, but they will be spread around. This allows them to show their skills, but they finish their time here (3-5 years) and they are not beat to hell like a Marcus Lattimore. RBs have a very limited number of carries in their legs, if they are ground up in college, that takes a couple of years off the NFL paycheck. Many RBs see the Bama situation as a plus. Some can't live without being the star, well Bama is not the place for them.
without reading the rest of the thread...
people need to get over the idea of Henry to H-Back as a lock to happen.
if Henry plays H-back ?
- does OJ Howard play WR ?
- does Henry step on campus from day one at HB over slot WR's Christion & Cyrus Jones ?
so does he play LB ?
- not likely
