The players are paid less than MLB,NBA and Hockey players yet the NFL produces much more revenue than any of those and players have a much shorter shelf life. If I were an NFL LB'er i'd train to box, become a beast and get paid 10 mill a fight. Had Ray Lewis became a boxer at a young age he would have earned 3 times more over his career in half the time. Big dummies.

Agreed, but alot of that money goes towards pensions so in a sense the NFLPA is doing it's job.
OP my grandfather's brother was a founder screw off.

No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
lolz at the idea they could just become boxers and make more money
Easier said than done my friend
The NFLPA is not the smartest bunch but the Owners know how to force their hand very well
Its the super wealthy ( Owners ) vs. young and mainly born in poverty/newly found wealth ( the players )
Who do you think is gonna win the legal battles ? its like putting a baby in a cage with full grown lions and simply wishing him luck

fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
You also realize that the roster sizes are much larger , right?
Hockey players are paid the least by far...but yes baseball and basketball salaries are out of control.
"Off the field, Norb Hecker also made an impact as one of 12 players who started the National Football League Players Association in 1956, briefly serving as the team representative."
Imagine the NFL with out the NFLPA. It has done a ton of good over the last 50 years.
My Grandfathers brother was a beast. He had eight NFLCG/Super Bowl rings by the time he retired. (1 Rams, 3 Packers, and 4 49ers) (also the reason I am a 49ers and Stanford fan living in Florida)
The NFLPA sucks total balls
Every contract signed is a joke
IMO blame it on owners. The Salary cap is what keeps salaries low. The NFLPA is always trying to raise it but the owners are always fighting it.

The question is whether he knows why...
The answer is obviously not
Was hoping it hit him after he read andrew's post, but maybe I'm giving him too much credit.
Worse than all of that was them agreeing to dock the Redskins 36 million in cap room.
Not really... the league warned them about front-loading, and Snyder basically flipped them the bird. They deserved that.
