I actually think the belly button plan is the best option.
Just put Michigan and tOSU in the same division, nothing else really matters.
The East/West option would be my 2nd choice. I just think the belly button plan is a better split in terms of competitive balance.
I would much prefer the Inner/Outer.

My choice is to have Rutgers and Maryland join PSU and OSU. Then kick either purdue or illinois to the opposite division.
This makes the most sense. Move Illinois to the other side and add Rutgers and Maryland.
Ohio State and Michigan need to be in the same division.
If you are going to go to 9 games and have x-division rivals, I don't see the need.
I don't mind the East/West setup, but Nebraska is going to feel like it's in the old North/South divisions from the Big XII in a competitive standpoint.
I still think we are going to 16 with 4 regional pods, so this doesn't really matter.
Makes no sense to have Michigan and tOSU play each other twice a year, that's going to happen enough in the future.
As long as a rematch is possible, OSU and UM need to be in the same division.
I really don't care either way to be honest with you. I assumed that if we go to 16, OSU and Michigan (along with MSU) would be in the same 4 team pod.
I partially agree except it would be really gun to kick their asses twice in one year.
Has to be the belly button. If they did east-west the east division would be a far tougher draw - most of the best schools in our conference are in the east.
You see that sign that says 'Rib Tips'??
Think the Button would be much stronger
Why not just break it up the best you can..
Place Maryland in the division where an easy win is needed by the overlords. Maryland is worse than Minn.
You guys would stand no chance.
Sorry bro, but you know the Big Ten is going to keep as many rivalries alive as possible. I could see...
1) Neb, Iowa, Minn, Wisky
2) NW, Ill, Ind, Pur (terrible, I know... doesn't matter because they will be paired with another pod each year)
3) OSU, MSU, Michigan, UVA* (assumption)
4) PSU, RU, MD, UNC/GT* (assumption)
I say East/West, but switch Purdue and MSU.
I've slowly come around to the idea of having UM/OSU in the same division. As long as the other two traditional powers (PSU/NEB) are in the other division, I'm ok with it. The Inner/Outer plan is the best I've seen so far.
Have no problem putting you guys in the division.. but UM + OSU would be tough.. would much rather to have UM/MSU protected cross over and let MSU/Wisky rivalry blossom
inner/outer is terrible for the outer division. Travel times for the Outer teams sucks compared to the Inner. The inner travels their tiny area for 6 of their 8 games meanwhile the Outer division is traveling twice as far every week.
The best way to do it would be just shift Illinois over to Legends and put Rutgers and Maryland in the Leaders.
