He said he saw how high the progressive was, did some math that included the benefits of his player card, thought he could play about 1000 hands an hour, and figured he had a 0.65% edge against the house.
He says he had played about 10 hours (10,000 hands) and was in for $50K (down about 11K) when he hit the royal flush jackpot. It came quicker than he thought. He knew he'd get paid bonuses on straight flushes, four aces, or four kings, etc, but planned to continue playing until he hit the royal (which means he could have ended up investing quite a bit more than $50K).
That is bad ass. I want to do that someday.
Wow, that a lot of alcohol

I suppose it could have been someone else, but the picture would be hard to fake. Since he held KJs, I'm guessing the strategy is to just keep any cards that might be possible towards the royal and play for 5 days until you hit it.
He got lucky and hit it after 2 days.

He took it off his twitter later. I don't see Huck degen'ing up slots no matter what the payout is. 2 days to hit a jackpot for Half a million? You can make that in 3 hours at Bobby's Room.
